R/n?

I searched the forums for R/N builds and found zero, is it just a bad idea? it seems like having a golem (or whatever the GW equivilent would be) taking your damage while you shoot em with a bow would be a good idea? I can't decide what my sub class should be, but necro seemed to make sense. Anyone got a reason why that's bad, or an alternative? any help is much appreciated.
