Bows

Whats the difference between the bows besides short and long

and if there is a difference can you tell me which one is the most powerful and fastet and the least powerful and slowest

Short Bows/Half Moons generally have a faster attack rate, but not by much (.4 seconds shorter than the longbows and company, which fire every 2.4 seconds). They all do the same kind of damage, but I have heard that the horn bows have a built in 10% armor penetration mod, but that could be a myth).

Sorry to add another question to the thread but i was also wondering what effects the range of a bow? Is it static and fixed for all bows or do different types of bow have longer ranges?

Longbows have the long range; especially when you have height advantage, you would be amazed at how far out of your aggro circle you can hit someone. Great for pulling mobs and "starting it" in a PvP match.

Keep a decent shortbow for close combat and composite bow for interrupts and you're all set.
