Runes and armor

I am a W/Mo with Droknar's Knight armor. I have played this game for over 150+ hours and still have no single rune equiped on my armor.
Now, it's time to buy some runes and I need some help with this.
Superior Runes aren't really good for a Warrior, right? Cuz they have -75hp, except the Vigor and Absorption runes.
So I should go for Minor runes only?
If yes, are these good?
Tactics (Minor)
Strength (Minor)
Axe Masterty (Minor)
Major Vigor (is it true that a Sup Vigor only has +9 hp more then the Major?)
Sup Absorption
Does it matter what rune I equip on a piece of armor? Does it makes any difference?

Any hints and tips are really appreciated!

superior runes ARE infact very usefull for a warrior, unless you're planning on doing no dmg at all

your base dmg of your weap depends on your attribute level, therefor, buying a +1 axe mastery helmet and slapping a sup rune of axe mastery on it will increase your dmg output nicely

for the rest i'd stick to minor runes for tactics and strength, and as high as you can afford for vigor and absorption.

it is indeed true that sup vigor gives +50HP, while major gives +41HP

the piece on which a rune is attached has no effect at all

I'd say think about how you play your character. Is tactics the most important attribute? Weapon? Strength? Whichever is most important, that's the helm and superior rune for you.

I like to try different things so have a helm for strength, tactics and hammer, each adds +4 to that attribute. For the most part I used the collector helms. I have boots with +1 for tactics and strength, so if I have the +4 tactics helm on I wear the +1 strength boots. I also have gauntlets for +1 axe and sword. Its a pain to carry all that and get it all infused but I can build my character however I want now.

Other than that it doesn't matter which piece has which rune.

Okay, thanks alot guys!
I'm buying the Executioner's Helm which is the +1 Axe Mastery.
But I don't get, how can you get +4 of something on 1 piece of armor? Or did I misread that? (Sorry, I'm Belgian )
Or, do you mean I have to get 3 helmets?
Helmet +1 Strength
Helmet +1 Tactics
Helmet +1 Axe or Hammer?

But, If I buy the Executioner's Helm (+1 Axe), and I buy a Minor Rune of Axe, do I get +2 Axe?

Put a rune of Superior Axe Mastery on the Executioners Helm. The rune gives +3 to Axe Mastery, the Helm gives +1. Total = +4.

You can still place it elsewhere to recieve the +4.

But yup..ideally, just like Carinae put it...nothing like a nice fat +4 bonus

any other rune questions, feel free to PM me.

Just one more question...
I have the Knights armor and as you know, it has "recudes damage of attacks" on all pieces of armor.
But, I am going for the gladiators armor now, (gives me +5 energy...), and going to buy a sup rune of absorption. Does this sup rune of absorption helps alot then? I mean, can you compare all the 5 knights armors with 1 sup rune of absorption?

For your armor grab the Knights boots and use the rest al lgladiators except for the helm. Use a helm for whatever weapon youre using. You only need one piece of the knights armor for it to affect the armor globally.

Yes its true that a sup vigor only has 9 more health than a major vigor. Using runes that have the -health penalty can be easily overcome. you have health modifiers that can add to your health on your weapon and your shield. with a vigor rune, you can easily counteract the -50 (major) or -75(superior) health reduction
