I'd advise you to do blacktide as that nets you a reasonable amount of exp and it's pretty easy. Or just go to EotN and do dwarvern boxing...

I would advise to to buy max armour(60 ar) as soon as possible as it will aid you greatly later in the game. Use the salvage kit to get the runes...
