as far as I'm aware shadow blades are only in prophicies which would mean they cannot get +5 energy just like fellblades, chaos axes, etc.

I don't think you can get a low req 3-5 +5 energy sword/axe/hammer as it is a bonus restricted to golds. I personnally have never seen a gold...
