Ok, well i have seen many threads about things anet has done to ruin guildwars for that person, so lets just put it all in one big thread.
Ill start off with what anet did to me with the most recent update involving sheilds. Yesterday i spent 350ecto+ on a shadow sheild collection, all perfect, worth alot, my babies. I wake up today to see that they are ruined, -2 damage against physical only now, im not happy, considering leaving guildwars as i spent all my gold on those, and now i cant resell em for spare cash if i plan to buy something.
SO, my question is, what has anet done that you didnt liek, and it ruined something for u?

Investments are risky, it's common knowledge. This is one reason why I only use collector and crafter items, if they get nerfed, I'm only out about 5k and a handful of materials.
My advice is learn how to adapt instead of sobbing since you were not the only one effected by this update and most likely not the only one to loss gold in the process :\

ah...It was more of a pre-emptive attack on the others who will while and bitch.
Anyway if all sheilds got nerfed to buff only physical damage, I don't see how yours would lose any value at all as sheilds as a whole were lowered, so how did yours lose value?

They nerfed Prophets Path...but then again i found other places to farm.
They did the whole armor update thingy to my warrior and i have to buy some new armor...but now an elementalist looks interesting (since i never played as an ele...)
They nerfed runes, made them easier drops..now i cant make money as much...but i can buy runes cheaper :3
They changed lots of skills....but it lets me try out new builds.
They made the droks run harder...but all i need is to get to LA then kaineng to get max armor anyway.
They made the shell collector in the desert only collect 2 shells instead of 5, making Wurm farming mostly useless....but this recent shield glitch means some people are gonna need some >.> heh heh.

Anet really hasn't nerfed anything I like, so they'd done nothing to me

ANET decided to take me from my happy, activity filled life and basicalyl left me an outcast sitting in front of my computer playing guildwars. 
anyway anet has done many many things right with guildwars and provided a very quality game for a reasonable price with no monthly fe that has given me hours of fun with fellow friends on guildwars that share the same thoughts.
The onyl downfall that i currently see is that we needed other things fixed that needed to be adjusted or revamped completely and werent even addressed in a few updates, yet were supposed to already be fixed... oh well its a good thing i have patience

P.S. I love the Ele buffs in this update. And it is about time the abosrbtion armor was stripped of it's global ability.

Killed my armor definately, though the other choices out there are still not much better. Knights is still useless because the -3dmgphysical is not that big a deal.
Nerfed sup absorbtion many times, bought it for 100k a few months later its under 5k.
Nerfed my HoD Helm made it nearly useless

First of all the OP wasn’t crying, and if i lost what he did i know I would be! The topic of this post is plain and simple, meant to be a discussion of how bad anet screwed you over, not to flame someone who lost a lot and wants to vent a little. i lost probably 300k+myself worth of item nerfs and i feel anet had more than enough time to do this in the past.

I'm a bit upset about the rockmolder nerf (not overly since I rarely use my mesmer).... I just think that after it had been THAT long they would have just let it be... Now I wish I had sold mine ;_;
Other than that, ABs.... I really liked the FPE and I still think the setup of the FPE was better, but things are a bit smoother now thankfully. I played my first AB battles last night after several months of strike.... It was ok till the Kurzicks got stupid lol. We rule during the day but after 12am it all goes to hell >_<
I really do feel for those people that have to buy their 15k armors again... I just think thats sad that you can no longer mix and match with the warrior armors ;_;
Nothing that makes me want to quit playing tho... Just.. Saddened lol.

The knights boots fix I don't care about because it was an actual BUG.

The multi comboed armors added some nice variety rather then the push were going to have now.
Whatever though, there's always ass-kisser and grumblers. I'd rather grumble some though. I'm not for change for change and I'd rather see game companies follow game evolution in conjunction with players instead of jamming one concept or another over on gamers.

Again, appreciate your thinking, rather then the asskissers that love to yap when others get screwed and they are unaffected. They must have miserable minds to begin with, but they cry the loudest when affected.

They messed Feast of Corruption up, now 15 energy, and did all that physical damage stuff, not playing GW no more seeing as I played on my Necro and Warrior the most.

I can take all of the changes made to the game in stride when they affect all players. The equipment changes don't affect all players, especially in this case.
I'll keep on enjoying the game, but seriously - The thought of going back and farming the gold to get whatever I decide is the new best armor for me, frankly makes me sick. If I just had the chance to trade my old armor pieces in then it wouldn't be so bad.

Anet lied to me. They said I was going to get storage and trade improvments "soon." But I can't wait for "soon" I have to have it now, because I paid them and they should give me what I want. They took my easy money runs and made me think about what to do next. They buff every other class except mine, and nerf mine into the ground. They also kidnapped Gwen and are holding her hostage and won't tell me where she is. They made me spend even more pixelated gold on titles that mean, like, EVERYTHING to me. Now they want to make it easier for me to get killed by a guy carrying a stick and chanting in some funny language. ANET is the Devil!

Maybe Anet made me realize its sometimes better to wait a while before buying a new product. For the rest: nothing special. IF I get mad about a nerf, its my own responsibillity since I like to stick to the same working features. But... Actually some + or - to items don't mean much to me: Without the proper skill most items are powerless and a nerf only makes me wonder why all the effort was needed
