My storage idea - feedback please

On another board, someone suggested an armor tab be added too....let the pic load and tell me what you think. The image is large in height so may take a moment to load.

I think this is a real cool idea, increases lotsa storage space. hope anet will follow up with this.

I'm sure anet thought about this. Just don't know why they haven't put it in yet.

THe idea sounds alright, but i would just like mabye just buying 50 gold a post in storage or sometihn like that, with a maximum.

But I do hope that the devs at implement something very similar to what I came up with. I like organization and lots of space in case you can't tell :P

What about an armor slot?

Nifty and all, but increased storage does have it's downsides. Econ 101, hoarding is bad for the economy. Realistically, you don't need to packrat everything you find, if we all did that, everyone would be a lot poorer ingame.

Now...I do need a question to be answer... Why didn't the Dev also add the material storage to Prophecy? Extra data storage needed? Devs want people to buy character slot/extra game to increase their storage? Balance the economy?

Its up for guess... but that is my fear and concern that such thing won't get added to the game.

With the upcoming purchase of additional character slots and planned release of two campaigns per year increased storage is a must and your ideas are sound. Lets hope the Devs are considering some of these options.

most probaly beacause it would take up too much server space etc. thats why they only added a materials tab.

Great idea, but i dont think Arenanet can afford/are able to add more storage, hence why they havent. With the ability to buy more charater slots however, it means we can buy storage chars.

Still, this is a really neat idea.
I think that the cap of 250 items for materials should be 500 aswell.
For my guildies, I store alot of stuff, having 4 stacks of 250 bones, well that's not needed, but I wished I could just store 500 and sell the rest.

/me hopes for more storage improvements.
