New Log-In Screen: What do you want to see?

If ArenaNet is following precident, we'll get the Nightfall-themed log-in screen before the event starts: (The GW:F login screen was implemented before the 1/20 PvP Factions beta).

The log-in screen will also likely be released simotaneously with the Character slot purchases. (since the GW:F log0in screen doesn't look like it's able to support it.)

What do you want to see in it that isn't in the current log-in screen?

Basically the event coming on July 28-30 is the same as the Ch2 PvP event we had when Aner introduced battle isles. That day we also got a new login screen.

I'm thinking the new one would have a desert background that looks over the forest area of Nightfall.

A while back there was a bug that duplicated characters on the log in screen, AFAIK it delt with 8+ Characters fine

I'd like to be able to toggle weapons on and off

I loved Prophecies login screen, I 'liked' Factions for the preview, loved the music, but thought when I bought the game I'd get a better looking 'non preview' intro. I really don't like the Factions one now, it is boring and dull, sems like there is so much space and yet nothing happening...

I like being able to see passports of where your chars are and piccies, but find what I open now very grey dull and boring, bit like when you hit kaineng town really...

I just want something funky, something that lets you view your char's profile and a non-grey background...

oooo maybe they will use the old login since that can be sort of african!!!

I think having pictures of disrobed dancing female elementalists, ritualists and paragons in the background would be a pretty great login screen (although many of us would have a hard time actually "logging in")...

I think a picture of a city with a giant gate and infront of it your characters stand, would be cool, kinda like hte old gw selection screen but more Egyptian back drop, sandy ground, and very dark, almost Night'ish hence the name NIGHTFALL, kinda like during wintersday log in, that was cool

i think it should be a steppe landscape type scene

Probably going to see something like an area that looks like the Underworld with clouds in the sky and a full moon. That would fit into Nightfall as how I am thinking... Just speculation.

I guess something(like the pillar) in the middle of a desert/steppe and in the distance a city, some forest and some mountains.

Atleast that could be the current log-in screen, african themed.

A sunset in the desert, and maybe a silver city on the side.

Since the screen rotates u could also have a mountain (like in the crystal desert) or two and a sand worm jumping out of the sand and back into it.

The current login screen seems pretty generic, it's of no specific place you see in Cantha. If it looks like anything, it's of the battle isles, which is not exclusive to any chapter. So I don't think the login screen is gonna change at all. The music might change to the Nightfall theme though.

I kinda would dislike a change anyway unless it was optional or if it rotated between login screens. I just like the current one a great deal.
