Missing Greens *The Ancient & Wiseroot Shatterstone*

Okay finally.... someone post up Wiseroot Shatterboss's drop! (Shatterstone, Water wand, same stats as Flint wand, but very very unique weapon skin!!) So this prove all green bosses drop greens in Faction!! So hopefully people will post up The Ancient's drop soon~

It's been awhile, and yet I haven't see anyone get any drops from the above two water eles bosses (The Acient - he only spawn inside Aborstone mission, from the left side route) (Wiseroot Shatterstone - very near kurzick 15k armory town, close to a monk boss)

Me and another guild friend were trying to farm Wiseroot Shatterstone, but still no drop. The Acient is hard to farm as you HAVE to go inside the mission.

Does anyone get those two rare drop? Mind list the name and weapon stats? *I believe one of the drop should be water green focus, while the other one might be a water staff??*

I'm pretty sure that no bosses in missions drop greens, save for The Deep and the Warren. Which would be the two elite missions. For Wiseroot Shatterstone just check GWiki they have a list of all greens. Look up the boss and check his dropped items.

as for a normal explorable area, Kyali the Brave, a hammer boss right outside Breaker's Hallow......no green. After I solo'ed him about 25 times, and was thinking, damn his green must be sweet, I'll go check wiki for the stats....and....yeah.....I felt stupid

Constructs Drop Greens so your post is null and void

(or is it? Has anyone who have gotten a construct green gotten it in the mission?)

I've gotten a green item in a mission, so that's nonsense.

I saw one of the Warden bosses in Arborstone (the mesmer) drop a green once...

Yup, Milefaun (the mes in Arborstone) drops his nice Dom staff, as the above poster says. It's just confusing trying to figure out which bosses don't actually have greens - whereas the assumption in Prophecies was that most bosses didn't have uniques, in Cantha most of them seem to. A nice change in some ways, but the market is full of people selling perfect weapons, lol.

EVERYONE needs to specifiy here if the bosses actually dropped their greens in MISSIONS. I've played the game through both sides with 4 characters and never seen a green drop.

Farming in the EXPLORABLE zones is a totally different issue obviously. I'm thinking some of the above people might have these 2 circumstances mistaken. I'm thinking greens (for whatever reason....bugged?) don't drop greens during missions.

I was thinking of posting this in the suggestions forums a few times but kept forgetting. Bosses really should drop their greens at the same rate during missions as they do in explorable zones.

edit: JohnM, let me clear up a few things for you. In Proph, the ONLY bosses that drop greens are those in Sorrow's Furnace and ToPK. Both of those areas were added much after Proph was released. In Cantha, nearly every boss drops (Kyali The Brave as I posted above is a rare exception), however I believe it's only in the explorable zones, not missions.

Most mission bosses don't drop greens, unless they're a mirror of a boss that drops a green in an Explorable Area.

OP: Neither of the bosses you've listed drop greens.

Okay Bossess in Mission does drop greens! Because I got "3" Ryvers Shortbow from Arborstone(mission)!! I guess I was very very lucky

Beside, one of the guy reply by asking me to check greens from Gwiki....

The reason I post here is becoz Gwiki doesn't have complete list yet, I double checked nobody ever got drop from Wiseroot Shatterstone and The Ancient boss yet! If you pay close attention on Ele Greens section, you'll noticed there are more greens on the Jade-sea side, and kurzick side elementalist greens only have very few listed... I'm sure both The Acient and Wiseroot Shatterstone drop something but probably not many people interest to farm the above two water ele bosses?

Hopefully someone with the rare drop will post it here and on Gwiki !

I just made this list and I'm going to try adding it to the article on Canthan Green items on GuildWiki.

I forgot to mention that it was during the Arborstone mission that I saw Milefaun drop his green (which, unfortunately, was reserved for someone else)...

personally i am quite annoyed that milodestus the wrangler and iddilus of empty palm don't have greens because anet said that the reason that these bosses didn't appear was because of a bug, since they don't have any greens and most other bosses do (save the afflicted and the other 2), i thought that they were not acutally included in the first place and that anet made a mistake.

I definitely seen the ranger boss in the Arborstone MISSION drop a green.

Please stick to the main topic, as for these 2 bosses, i haven't seen them drop for me before. Guildwiki doesn't seem to provide information for greens drop by them too.

offtopic: greens do drop in missions. In arborstone, both the ranger and mes dropped a green once when I was there. A kaolin item dropped in a different mission once too.

I'm also willing to bet 2.5mil GW gold on this that they do, in fact, drop in missions.

Bosses do infact drop greens IN missions, I remember getting a green bow off the ranger boss at the start of arborstone awhile back.

But that boss is available in the explorable area, and Milefaun appears in mourning veil falls.

Dark Fang, The Ancient and Stone Judge do not drop greens.. buuut:

• Dark Fang = Kaswa Webstrider
• Stone Judge = Mahr Stonebreaker

these boss use the same elite and can be found in the explorable. The Ancient is an oddity, he uses Shatterstone while the explorable ele boss, Zarnas Stonewrath uses Shockwave, I think that is just because Shatterstone can be found in The Eternal Grove explorable area, and they didn't want to duplicate elites.

I thought every bosses in Cathan area drop greens? So there are bosses whom don't drop greens eh? Is this confirm by Anet?

So The Acient don't drop any? What about Wiseroot Shatterstone? He should at least in my understanding drop a green water artifact. Because according from Gwiki's list. There are only two new water greens, I've Kaolin Water Staff myself, and I saw this The Stonebreaker (Wand, same stats as Flint Wand) Anet should at least create a Water green focus to match Stonebreaker eh? That's why I'm guessing either The Ancient or Wiseroot Shatterstone should drop greens.

Any further confirm information?
