On topic, I have not read the entire thread, but I will hope they implement some quick build switch like they have done for with weapons. Pre-set skillbar and attributes.

my list:

1- Profession changer on guild halls
2- Allow pvp chars to change their armors/itens (while not on combat areas) without re-make them.
3- Allow to change chars without log out!
4- More Storage
5- More missions like kill shiro, just a party to kill a boss, without walk 1 hour or so (like hell's precipice :s)
6- More Dyes!
7- 4 or 5 costumizable skill bars/attributes slots (as it happens for weapon slots, but you could only change slots while you werent on combat areas)
8- Upgrades for shield - Why on hell only weapons got upgrading mods ? huh ?
9- More costumizable weapon mods, like why on earth i need 20%+ dmg on a staff ? why cant i costumize that staff for my char with, for ex, +5 energy ?
10- let me show my pets and weapons on towns ^^

Ah well, Snowman, i totally agree with adding the gladiators arena to nightfall, 1on1 is super cool. Offcourse some elder forum members will start nagging to me now, so let me explain:

- in this arena you can only fight players with the same primary profession, so You don't get unfair battles, and if u do, its probably your own fault.

-Offcourse a 1on1 random arena would be unstable, but thats a risk you take. Either you go fight in the team arenas with a good group and have a good chance of getting 10 con wins, or you fight alone in the gladiators arena and have a much higher risk of losing, but if you do happen to do good, you can get lots of consecutive wins. I personally think that would be cool.
My suggestion is to get less faction of balthazar from this arena since if you are doing well, you win 20 times in a row or so.

-I hope that the outpost from the gladiators arena will have a pit arena in the middle, where a random fight is displayed. In other words; if you are lucky, you spawn at the gladiators arena outpost map, and you can get an audience, a real audience, not like observers.

I agee with the audience, but having a pit would cause sooo much lag guys. I mean think about whats happening IG right now. If anyone hasnt realized the error 7 and complete team lag-outs are becoming a aspect to guildwars GVG and other ideals of Guildwars.

A gladiators arena? Awsome idea, but it will never be built in because thats just how a-net roles.

Anyways it would be awsome if it was dueable.

1-more storage. each character has had to pay 50g to use the same 20 slots no matter how many characters you have plus another 50g per character for the materials tab.. 20 slots just isnt enough, really never has been enough once factions came out. adding 10 more slots per character up to 50-75 slots should be about right if there will not be some kind of armor or weapons vault. the material slots were nice but need to be upgraded to 500 or 750 per material. if your saving up for 15k or FoW armor your going to need more then 250 of some things

2-guild hall skill trainer upgrade. if the skill has been unlocked on your account you should be able to buy it from the guild hall skill trainer like you can at all the trainers within the game.

3-improvements to the friends list and guild alliance info. it would be nice to be able to see who is online within your alliance without having to add them to your friends list that can only hold so many names. either increase the amount of friends you can hold on the list or make it where if you click on the alliance guild name on the alliance list it opens up a window with their members so you can see if anyone is on.

4-auction hall would be nice.

5-upgrades merchant. it would be nice to have one selling weapons upgrades

6-improvements to the weapons crafters. you can customize them for the +20% damage mod, how about being able to customze the mod on it for a fee. say you find a nice weapon with a skin you really want but has some mod like vs hexed or while hexed. you can go to the weapons crafters and have that mod changed to something more usefull for your build with one of the other modifiers that weapons have.

7-being able to rejoin a mission in progress. if your dropped from the game due to issues you cant control it would be nice to be able to relog in with the same character and have a window pop up asking if you would like to rejoin the team you were with. once you click yes, a box could pop up on the party leaders screen with a yes/no box asking if they want this person to rejoin the party. if you map out on your own then of course you wouldnt get that option to rejoin

Obviously the auction house, but besides that my requests are for PVP enhancements to features that are already in the game.

1 - Allow a guild to watch it's most recent GVG battle in observer mode so that they can review the game they played.
2 - In observer mode, on the minimap, you can see the dots representing all players and NPCs. Please enhance GVG minimaps to show dots for only your team obviously. Showing player position is most important, so if you don't want to show the NPCs on the map, at least show the team's players.
3 - We desperately need the reconnect feature because losing a player in GVGs due to an err7 really sucks!
4 - Stop the leechers! In ABs and Ft Aspenwood I frequently see people join the game and then let their characters sit still the entire match. I suggest adding an inactive timer per player such that when a player is inactive for 3 minutes, boot them from the game and penalize them with a 60 minute wait before they can enter another faction-rewarding game.

I'd kill for some options to individualise your character more and make roleplaying a bit easier and funnier! Like, let' say, town clothing, the possibility to walk instead of running all the time, taverns that your characters can enter to have a drink and talk with the other folks , rp-ing districts, etc. pp... *dreams*

And besides that, I of course also want the omnipresent reconnect feature, trading improvement, and all that.

One of the most frustrating elements of GW for me is the tired reliance on a small set of "best" skills. Even though there are an enormous amount of skills and elite skills one can acquire for each character class, it always ends up that I use the same set of skills because all the others, in general, are sub-par (or seemingly so). I know there are specific builds for certain game situation that are different from normal game play, like FoW and UW (I'm speaking here of PvE, I don't PvP, so my discussion is limited to that). I also know that there are many people who can easily tweak their builds for certain quests and missions because they spend a great deal of time reading forums etc. However, the average, middle-of-the-road player doesn't have time or the interest to do all that. So based on this observation, I would suggest the following:

1. Preempt each mission (and even quests) with some kind of dialogue (perhaps speaking to some NPC before leaving) that gives some hints, specific to your character class, as to what kind of skills and weapons would be most appropriate.

2. Create mission and quest environments that challenge characters to utilize different skills and weapons.

3. Allow for more that one elite skill. Having the one-elite limit forces you to use the same skill (per build) all the time. Well it doesn't force you, but for casual players, it winds up that way.

4. Modify or delete those skills that are obviously useless or nerfed to death.

yeah ive always wanted the option for 2 elites. we have 2 professions, why cant we be able to carry 1 elite from the 2 professions we are at that time. maybe increase the skill bar to 10 slots too. there are creatures in the game that use 2 elites and we cant, if this game is about balance then either the creatures need to lose 1 of the 2 elites or we should be able to carry 2

That's the wrong solution to the problem. You have to first identify the reason why this solution arose... It's because people are too lazy to try out anything new, and would rather just go out and finish the game with builds that generally work across the whole game, instead of being innovative with their own abilitites.

So no, you don't have to pay extra to get it, you just have to find a retailer who isn't trying to scam you out of $5 for it. ANet isn't charging any money for the package, it's certain retailers who are unnecessarily charging. If a retailer has chosen to charge $54.99 for Nightfall + Nightfall Prerelease Pack instead of $49.99 for Nightfall + Nightfall Prerelease Pack then that just means the retailer is a jackass.

That said, most stores are still retarded at this point about preordering, wait till September 15 when the Prerelease Pack is available and more stores should get un-retarded by that time.

It's nice to see that Nightfall will have skill templates, hopefully they will have a hairdresser, an auction house, or reconnects, since all of those are really popular requests

I would like to see the weapon smith with an uncustomize button.
My reason is beacuse i bought 2 accounts to have all 6 professions at the time now i have bought 2 slots and made my ranger and mesmer again.

Now i spent tons of money on making the best items for them but seeing as they are customized makes them useless. So adding this feature would be nice to alot of people that have the same problem.
