i ss and 55 for a 2 man uw run. but it seems all the 55s share similar characteristics:
they dont talk
they dont have a guild
they run the old monk solo [soj and zealots, not spellbreaker and signet]
they always pay to get in
are these true bots? has ne one else had these things? they arent korean, i know, but if these are bots they gonna mess up the whole game. anybody any comments?

Whats EVEN MORE strange is that when i go as monk instead of my usual necro, i see that the necros are NOT like monks, they talk, they share experiences, they ask for 50-50 ectos and all...
But its just i try as a necro to get a random monk on TOA that things go different, monks are realy anti - social i guess, maybe they are mad because they gotta farm ectos and their fow armor sucks so much ^^

I dont belive its bots.. i Belive that its the Asian farmers.. Becouse: Some of them talk a little.. (Stuff like OK and some Draw on Minimap) .. While i dont think a Bot can be programmed to Hide behind benton and stuff to avoide being rended? Also alot of this monks is just trying to Scam off the necro and leave off to farm smiters by themself, witch is why most of em have SoJ i think..

im a 55 monk and it seems to me everywhere i go i run into robots wether its La, Toa ,UW ,Ascalon, Shingjea, Marketplace and definitly Droks, idk its wierd though they invite me in and dont say anything they get a full party and then we leave and they never speak a darn word...

But i actualy dont see the central point in doin this...is it because of the 500g they save on the fee?!!? Because of the first few dying knights?!?! I mean, i can solo em ridiculously whith a mo/me....even w/out sb!
Anyway, monks in general have grown arrogant in this game, mainly because noone likes to play as one and every party needs em...
THERE ARE a few that are realy trustword and enjoyable as a party member, talking and making the game fun and all (i personaly dont think the game itself is fun anough w/ out the "human" component, i like to make jokes and stuff like that in the midle of the mish ^^)... and thats the reason why i keep a close track of trustfull 55 monks on my Flist, and now that i got about 3 of em i dont have to relly on "bots like" 55s to do my runs anymore
STILL, scams on spider runs are common, so i encourage u guys charge for it before you take the last quest or AT LEAST bring a Conjure Phantasm or sumthing like it, so you can kill the spider if the client attempts to charm it before u get paid (as i said....i LOVE off-topic chatp ;p).

That happened to my friend necro when he was farming for his FoW he got a guy that ran off to the smites, He carefully followed and after that guy got a large group of smites, he casted a hex on the smites and BOOM no more 55 monk :-p

I unfortunately went one day on my necro into ToA, thought I was lucky as heck to get a 55 monk to help me when they added another Monk, and I was like umm hmm. confused. Then all of a sudden we were in UW and I'm like, I wasn't ready, started talking to them, and they didn't say a word to me, then one dies and they yell at me to res him, and I just had to shrug, I was still sorting out my skillbar and forgot that .. res ... -hehe-
I got a kick out of that and left them both down there. Now I won't go as a ss with some random person, always a friend of guildie will get me as an ss. As a monk. Definitely only people I know. I have bad days down there, and need someone who will laugh at me not at me. lol

I have a sixth sense about Asian gold farmers. I can sniff them out from miles by looking at:
Their name,
Their armour,
The spacing in their text,
The overuse of the word 'ok',
Their lack of guild or guild tag "[love]' (not to say that all [love] tags are farmers)
I recommend having a short rendez-vous with them and if they can't string a sentence together, the chances are they are not playing for the fun of it.

I teamed with a 55 monk once, and I could of sworn they were a bot. Whenever I logged onto my necro, she'd say uw ok? over and over and over.

I noticed this too whenever I went 2 manning on my necro. When I go on my 55, I make sure to communicate with the necro, ask them for a 50/50 on ectos, and offer to pay my 500g for the entrance cost. I prefer going to UW as a SS, but I often get non-english speaking monks who run off, aggro a bunch of shite, train them on me, I die, and they go farm smites. Jolly good!

Dont see why they would run bots with a random person... itd be a much simpler affair to have 2 bots farm (or alternateively solo it).

You can't get any ectos in UW without sb, if they always pay to get in, they're really losing money and not gaining

Met a few who speak very very poor english and dont speak much. One I eventually got to speak and I think he was either very young/ didnt know much english. Maybe they are just people who cant speak english well hence why they only use basic english.
To bot uw would be impossible due to the random nightmare spawn locations etc. I remember back in the days of the apple farmers (red apple, yellow apple, golden apple) and how they used to daily spam in la. They also had apple named uw farmers as I remember some person saying how a farmer named something apple stole his ecto lol.
Ive met a few who pay to go in aggro everything then die lol. Pretty weird tbh.
I used to solo it but it takes forever. I found pulling mods with longbows doesnt trigger nightmares. You use balth spirit (the aoe one), symbol of wrath, soj and normal 55 monk skills. Like I said it takes forever and is a pain. Two man is faster and much easier imo.

There are Asian N/Me farmers out there too. I haven't seen or heard of any in UW but they're selling all sorts of golds and selling/buying ectos.

I in my noob state a few months back had a 55 monk without sb. With a good ss who killed all the nightmares for me, and only ever had my enchants stripped a few times
Soloing, done it without sb as well and it takes forever.

If you need to make a script to press protective spirit and healing breeze, you shouldn't be in the underworld.

I usaly talk a lot in real life and in GW.
but I have meet a lot of these 55hp monks that invite and go to UW, then they dont say a word then draw on the mini map and you need to figure it out what does it means.
Did one run with this monk and I and he got an ecto, then we came out and in crapy enhlish he wantet my ecto for 3k. :S

I'll admit that I talk when I am aggroing SOmthing just to show off....Kinda sad really..
I also use a Spirit Bond build so If I do get striped I have enough time to put sprit Bond back on and prot sprit...
If I am 55'ing I usually dont talk because If I do Die then most of the time i got to listen to the necro Curse at me and say its my fault.

I can talk while tanking between SoDs (I'm not a monk, my build is different
) but it has to be very short bursts... I wouldn't expect anyone to try, more important to stay alive.
