Ok after reading through some of the great guild names tags and looking at the images posted I have decided to put my guild up for the competiton.

My Guilds Name is: Lyssas Chosem
My Guild Tag is: [LC] (i wanted to keep it simple)

I am the leader of the guild, we are only small and only have three members.


This is the guild cloak I think it is very cool and ties in with the name well.
Green symbolises peace and happiness the turtle represents taking things slowly and steadly not rushing into things and the flowers represent Lyssa for Beauty.

So, a quick question. Sorry if it's been answered more than once but I simply can't believe it.

I can just walk into this thread, post 300 Guild names, and if one of them makes the grade, I win? Likewise I can just sit, make capes all night, taking screen shots, and make a web page showing them all in a spiffy manner using my website and some java programming? Is it just me or does that kind of kill the fun in this?

Seems like this would be better if we had to make the guild and be in it to win.....just my opinion.

If that's really not the case and we can submit as many as we want without any actual commitment to any of the names we create, then there's no reason I shouldn't just submit a few new entries every day, right? Maybe ten per day? Eventually I'm bound to strike gold, so to speak......



NOTE: I don't actually want to do that, I'd rather stick all my fish in one barrel and ride it to the end. It just hardly seems like a fair contest if an entry spammer has a better chance of chancing upon an entry you like just by thinking up names from all genres of humor, yaknow?

ADDITIONAL NOTE: I'm not trying to bad mouth the contest. It's a great idea and I was looking forward to seeing the entries. The answer to this question will simply determine whether I'll submit the one I come up with that I like best or just submit everything I find to be anywhere from rare and mildly amusing to unique and hilarious.

A person like me, who spent way too much time in a guild, just to enter in a contest would leave? I dont think so. If thats the case, i would easily step out of this contest. And quite a few wont even post.

*shrug* Like I said, it's not such a big deal to me whether its what I consider fair or not......I'd simply like an official word on how many submissions we can give so I can either pick one or just spam pages and pages of entries and still have him consider them for the winners bracket *chuckle*
