Just wanted to say that I've been following this thread since the beginning and I think all the models that have made it this far are very talented. I was skeptical at first because I thought you couldn't do much posing with GW, but all the models surprise me every week. Congrats to all of you and gl in the rest of the competition.

Huh, finally submitted mine. And now the worrying starts.... The light in Leviathan Pits played hell on my dark skin, making everything way too shadowed, but I hope I got even a half-decent shot out of it. I know the shot will be too shadowed since even standing fully towards the light didn't help, but at least I'm happy with the pose I picked.

Another one of my guesses: Tommorow we get evaluations for this shot, one person gets eliminated wedensday, then we get 3 days again for another shot due saturday... sunday will be the revelation of the Top 3.
I think that makes sense... im guessing another possibility would be... two assigments with scores that will be considered together... that way, people wont be able to fluke their shots anymore, and the more rounded top 3 will be chosen. For example, if I get lowest score for this assignment, and for week 9, assignment 2, I get 3rd... my final score for week nine will be 4th ( I would be eliminated.) But if any of the other models get, say, 4th then 2nd, they'll get 3rd average and stay safe.
Ill shut up now >.< Im just really nervous, and trying to sort this all out logically, lol.

I think with male monks it depends on the armor. I'm biased though - I don't think my male monk looks fat at all. He looks solid if that makes any sense, but I also think his armor helps (Canthan 15k looks really good on him). My stepson does think my monk might be a little light in the loafers, though, but then again my monk gets more chicks than my stepson. Maybe my stepson is jealous?

I dont know, I guess its personal preference and all.. but if you talk actual fashion male models... warrior and monk ones are too buff, and paragons and assassins fit the slim, yet toned requirement. Necro's are slim too, but bad posture, and the faces dont help much either >.<
All the other classes depends on you how you customize the character... but for sure warriors and monks are toooooo broad/chubby/buff/muscular.

That would be amazing! If Anet would ever acknowledge this competition, I would know that all the hard work and time everyone put into this really paid off (judges, contestants, and fans alike)! He's the sexiest piece of pixel this game has ever seen, next to Mhenlo of course lol *swoon for male monks* lol As for all the speculation going on, everything will make sense when I announce the second portion probably late tomorrow when I receive the last of the submissions for the latest shoot...I'm sure you can put it together if you seen the show and recognize the "This is not a sorority, this is a modeling competition". Well i finally submitted my shot. I kept getting ready to submit and it changed the link of the photo a good 20 times before i finally just hit submit. here are a few of my outtakes
   I hope i selected the best possible shot. I couldn't decide what I thought was best and what would be best for a signature pose.

I could see that point from a strict modern modeling perspective. I'm all about teh buff out here though, probably because I'm built like a tank (my hubby says I can't cut my hair short because I'd look butch waah).
Against my better judgement and Geishe's advice that monks are fat! I took a disturbing amount of shots to get a whole handful I liked. Here's two:   I like my monk because I don't think I've ever seen a monk that looks like him, and he looks happy. ETA: LadyNilene, I love you for the monk love!

actually i think week 3 i used that same pose, and I LOVE it

Geishe, wow, that shot is soooo MOTW, your hours of work definetly paid off! Love your artistic eye.Seraph, I think your monk definetly has model potential. That second shot is gorgeous! The pose looks so nice. Now that I think about it, I'm definetly happy with the pose I picked for Perynne, and wouldn't pick any other pose for her because the others just didn't feel right for this assignment. The pose is something I've never used before, but I guess that only makes it more like a signature pose... she saves it for when it really matters, and doesn't cheapen it by using it in every single shot. I don't know what the judges will think about it, but at least I'm happy with it personally. Silvergun Superman
