For the interview I had pretty honest and straightforward answers too. Grah, I hate trick questions.... they always make me feel trapped. And it was hard answering the questions in chat anyway, since I like writing a lot of text and it would always cut off after just a couple of words.
Jaden, wow, nice pictures. I like the Titanic feel of the first one, it has lots of energy in it. Too bad pictures with the face tilted up or sideways don't seem to fare too well in the competition... I think sometimes having only part of the face showing looks really good too. I had tons of shots like that too, but scrapped them since they would just not work here.

Comments: I thought you were such a bore to talk to, I couldn't get anything out of you, I couldn't get any personality to show at all. It was really dreadful. I'm not sure if you were just shy of my presence or what, but there was nothing there. I know that you've stressed to me that english isn't your first language, so that could've been the issue, but all in all, personality-wise, I just didn't get a read on anything. Your responses to my questions we're pretty well grounded. But you really need to work on putting yourself out there and showing more personality.

I was really worried that you dropped the ball on this assignment, but when you sent in your submissions, all that worrying completely subsided. I was really impressed with the pictures you sent in. All of them had some "attitude", which you claim is your trademark. I totally get Ice Princess from that shot, unfortunately, I also get Ice Princess from your interview. Unfortunately, you completely dropped the ball at the end when I asked you to comment on your competitors. Rule 1: Never single anyone out in that manner. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. While I can respect your opinion, you're putting yourself in a bad light when you do that, its a situation that you put yourself in that you just don't need nor want to be in.
And let me go on the record and say, all three of you guys, are 100% deserving of being in this top three, all three of you we're chosen for different reasons, but you all deserve to be in the top three. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, people can have their opinions, but you wouldn't be in this spot if you didn't deserve it.

You completely lost yourself with the scenery. If you really wanted to have that scene within your picture, I would suggest you had us move forward which shrinks your background, and you could've easily got all the waterfall in and still have presence in your picture. All in all, I thought you had the best film within the final three.

Comments: Overall, I would have to say you had the worst film among the final three. There were problems in every background you selected, among npcs/random afk people to the zone portals. I was actually surprised that at this point of the competition, there would still be those minor mistakes. Although I think that you tried the hardest, and scheduled the most meetings, I thought it was all in vain when I saw the pictures you selected.

Agh... well, yeah, I wasn't too happy with my images either. I think I ended up trying too hard to find a good place and good poses, and just spoiled it all by stressing about it too much. It was surprisingly hard to find a location that had good lighting that didn't spoil one of us... my dark skin looked really bad in most locations and was overshadowed by Nilene's light one (I tried finding places with my sister, who has a character with about the same skin tone as Nilene). In addition, I REALLY should have ditched the canthan armor, it spoiled a lot of the images with that nasty leather strap getting stretched.
Looking forward to seeing the results, and good luck to the other two models! I have a feeling you'll be selected to continue.

IE is epic fail. Photobucket will rezsize them down and wont allow them to be expanded usually. Thats why I tend to use Imageshack over anything.

heres a trick to read text more easily, save the picture on your computer, and when u open it FROM YOUR PC on the Windows Image preview, just hit magnifying glass once (if u do more it becomes way too blurry), which will zoom in abit in the picture.
and about my interview, i didnt mean to give you the feeling im an "ice princess", i was pretty stressed about it, and i was worried that i will mess it up somehow mainly cuz of my english (so many times i said things that really mean something diffrent and people are like "huh? wtf"), so i was chosing my answers very carefully. maby its also my vocabulary which wa sweak, but overall i was pretty stressed about it, not shy tho. i gave the answersr as honet as i could, yet i was worried that i will mess it up

I really like Jadens first shot and the scenery you picked with it looks amazing. Perynne you shoulda used different armor for you arms because i really liked your pic when you did the dance emote and Nilene was right next to you.

Good luck to everyone! I totally don't get "Ice Princess" from Burnout's interview. I get ESL from her interview. (That's English as a Second Language, for those who aren't aware.) I can hear an accented voice in my head when I read her comments and there's personality there. You're just focusing instead on her lack of fluency in English, rather than her. English is a very difficult language to learn later in life. For every "rule" we have 10 exceptions. Cheer up, Burnout! They were great shots.

On the other hand we have Perynne, she has been up for elimination numerous times for poor shots. Your poses were so static and bland. However you have been improving greatly. Your last few shoots were fantastic, and this one is probably your best yet.
That is a quote from last assignment from me. I think I'm one of the few who actualy recognizes you have been improving, Your last shot deserved model of the week. It was fierce and excellent. It's just I felt you got a free pass to the top 3 on one shot. No doubt you deserved model of the week, but I just forsaw a different top 3. Again it's like me and mortissia's model shoot, opinions collide and I get frustrated. I've edited this post quite a lot because I was getting angry at nothing when I first read your reply. I don't want you to think that I hate you, or that you are undeserving of being in this competition or the top 3 because really anyone in the top 6 could have gone to the top 3 and we were all deserving. Unlike my interview I had a chance to take back what I've said in the heat of the moment. I hope we can agree to disagree on the shots we like and don't like.

I do think that while Perynne has improved during the competition that her last shot earning a free bye into the top 3 was a little bit too much. It is a great shot, no doubt. However, I think that all the remaining contestants' entire portfolios should have been considered when selecting the final three. I am not running the competition though, and since I don't watch ANTM, I don't know how it's done there either. (That doesn't mean I think Pernne shouldn't be in the top three. It means I think that each model's entire body of work should have been assessed for entry into the top 3, rather than granting one single great shot a free pass, regardless of who produced that single great shot.)

Well no its not anti-jaden or anti anyone else really. Just what I personally feel about both you and perynne.
Alright, looking at Perynne - I agree with you on the fact that her poses were often to stiff. Looking at week 3 and week 5 next to each other it is the exact same thing, maybe caught one moment difference. and she never really seemed to play with emotes, until she got together with Burnout, and frankly I don't see it as a good thing. I remember the very first week I loved the pose she used along with the background and everything, but then week 2 she didn't even pose which I didn't view as a good thing either. But on the flip side Jaden, I have noticed you used dance quite often, especially after week 4 when you got MOTW (which that was amazing and you totally deserved it btw) But on the plus side, You played around with it and tried to capture a different moment/angle ext. The point I am making is really that I think both you and Perynne used the same type of thing throughout the whole competition. You used dance a lot, and Perynne stayed with that stiff look up until the end. But I think you did a better job of it, because even though it was the same emote, it looked like a different pose. Regardless of my opinion or anyone else's, there is something you both have, along with Burnout Chic, that everyone else was missing. And you all should be proud of yourselves for making it so far.

I apologize perynne for what I posted earlier. I've edited that post. It seemed I was being mean for the sake of just being mean and I did not want to come across like that. I was angry at your comment about not liking me or my shots and now I know how you feel about my interview. I regreted what I said in the interview, but unlike the forums I couldn't take it back.
It's just to me this is both a competition and a show. I picked my favorites and wanted to see them succeed and when they didn't quite make it I was upset Don't get me wrong here, my opinions have not changed, and niether should yours, but I think we brought this whole thing down to a level where we should not be. And I, as always, went over the top. So again I apologize.

There is nothing else that can look like dance. Even for my ritualist, 90% of the dynamic BEAUTIFUL poses were from dance. Heck, I even USED another emote to LOOK like DANCE for my last assignment... and the judges didnt get it (the community and competitors did, however) and it still didnt work as well. Using the same emote is like saying in real life that you "SMILE TOO MUCH IN PICTURES." You can smile 1000000000 different ways, but hell you're still smiling?! Is that wrong? I dont think so. Saying that one emote is used too much I consider a non-legit reason... if the shot is based on the pose, then its based on the pose. If one emote just has the best poses, of course you're choosing the best.

Heck, I even USED another emote to LOOK like DANCE for my last assignment... and the judges didnt get it (the community and competitors did, however) and it still didnt work as well. Using the same emote is like saying in real life that you "SMILE TOO MUCH IN PICTURES." You can smile 1000000000 different ways, but hell you're still smiling?! Is that wrong? I dont think so. Saying that one emote is used too much I consider a non-legit reason... if the shot is based on the pose, then its based on the pose. If one emote just has the best poses, of course you're choosing the best.
And this is why i wasn't sure if i should state my opinion...
I wasn't saying there was anything wrong with using /dance!!!! All I was saying is that Jaden did use dance often, But he played around with it, which was a good thing. It is fine to use the same emote if you play with the angles and the time that you capture the moment.

No, not on a similar level, I was just saying they each had one thing they did often in the competition. Jaden's was dynamic poses and Perynne's had stiffer poses.
Thats all i was trying to say. I have trouble saying what I mean sometimes.

In light of the fallout we just had in the thread, we decided to make our cut now.
Firstly, I want to say I was extremely disappointed in the display of cattiness that was shown in the thread yesterday. This completely reminds me of the sillyness of ANTM Cycle 5 Bre's missing Granola bars, and Nicole's wasted Red Bull Energy drinks...its just so silly. Both parties involved retaliated, and both of you lost respect from the judges. What was shown yesterday was not by any means a way to impress the judges and will hurt you in the final voting, right now, there is a clear winner in my eyes. Burnou Chic, you are safe into the final two. As for our bottom two... Jaden Stone - You know exactly why you are in the bottom two. You claimed to me you wanted to win this competition, yet you are continually doing things that make you look bad in front of the judges and to the fans, which will ultimiately determine your fate in this competition. You literally shot yourself in the foot. I gave you the advice of not putting yourself in a bad light, and you go and do it again. You really let us down, you let me down. I talked to you about this, and I see little to no change, and I hope you don't regret that. Perynne Walker - You are here because you felt the need to get defensive and go into drama mode which spun out of control. If you really wanted to prove Jaden wrong, instead of retaliating, you should've let your work do all the talking for itself. I can genuinely say that your interview blows hers out of the water by far and your picture isn't great, but her picture isn't fantastic either. I am ashamed to have both of you in my final three, obviously, the judges made an error in judgement. You really let us down. The thing about being a good competitor is being a humble winner/loser/player, and both of you did not display any of those qualities. All your hard work throughout this competition, is tarnished, gone. I hate the fact that now that things played out the way it did, and I would hate for Burnout Chic to be a default winner, because I'm sure she wants to win because she's great and not because her two competitors are poor sports. It might not be a big deal to you guys, but we do not want this thread to be an excuse to flame each other. Both of you have made your bed, and both of you will lie in it. For one of you, elimination awaits, and for the other, a special surprise awaits you that will be revealed in a bit... I will allow for one more 1 on 1 session for one last impression to try and regain what dignity you can get from us, but only one of you will get it, while the other gets eliminated. As for our safe contestant, as I said, the votes we're already made, so considered this your freebee, cause the votes could've been a lot different after seeing that fallout. You guys really put us in a difficult spot, and really let us down. Congrats for both of you for making it this far, but we on panel are disappointed to see how this all boiled down. We will get the poll situated soon, and I will contact our eliminated contestant for the final vote as well as for our other contestant for that 1 on 1, and we will show one last deliberation tomorrow.
