I thought I'd be happy about the final 2, but I just feel depressed and dissapointed in myself. This really has been the low of the competition for me so far. I'm more than disheartened by those comments but I understand them, my first post was out of line.

I don't understand if you were still offended by my re-edit. I felt like removing it completely was a gag on my opinion, and I thought I was trying to redeem myself with the edit. I tried to still give my opinion without being mean. appearently I failed.

I've lost perynnes vote for sure, I've lost the judges pride in me, and I've thrown away the popular vote.

I don't think any 1on1 can save my soul, But I will try my hardest and I will show that I can still win this.

Congrats to Jaden and Burnout! You two definetly deserve top 2! *hugs*

And yeah, I'm sorry I lost my temper yesterday and sounded more negative than I actually was. It was getting late here and I was tired and I really did think Jaden must have hated me for something. But after getting some sleep and reading the reply that cleared up his thoughts a little more, I'm really ashamed for having that outburst. Blunt honesty is something that happens quite often where I live, so sometimes I forget I might sound more judging than what I really am and that some people would find it too harsh. I'm sorry, Jaden, I hope there are no hard feelings? If there's one thing that I regret, it's that I didn't get to meet you in person and get to know you better.

Things like this are really hard to talk over in the forums because you don't get that sense of face-to-face you would get if you were even chatting. I think that next cycle, if the models haven't done it already, the judges should arrange a meet for the final three where they can just talk to each other, get to know each other and maybe talk over any harsh spots they might have with each other (well, ok, if I hadn't lived in Europe I'd probably have met everyone lots of times... tip to the next european contestant(s): get to know the other models even if it means you'll stay up all night! ).
In competitions there are bound to be strong emotions at play, even more so when people don't really know who the other person is. I think the judges should take this into consideration, and allow the models to talk it out, even if it might seem like a flame fest at first. I think that was the problem this time and a forum really wasn't a good place to bring it up, but sometimes to another contestant it might feel that a public attack deserves public retaliation. I know that I was not intentionally trying to hurt Jaden, I guess I just let my frustration do the talking.

I'm very sorry for disappointing you, LadyNilene and judges.

Strangely, I don't feel too bad about being dropped. Just a little disappointed that I couldn't make it to the end, and of course the endless thoughts about "what if I'd just done that differently... would I have made it?". I'm infinitely proud and happy that I got into top three, but I know that Burnout would have creamed me at the end. Now she will have a flashier model to compete against. Good luck to both of you!

Edit: Agh, I'm so sorry Jaden for being the reason you ended up feeling awful! I think what I meant to say before, is that I really don't mind those things you said about me. I don't hate you because of those things, and I definitely will not let my personal feelings get in the way of voting. After reading your comments, I really think you do deserve the top 2 spot, maybe even more so than me.

I come from a culture where blunt honesty is everyday life, so I'm very honored that you would say the truth as you saw it, even if it did hurt me. I value everyone who gives their opinion and speaks their mind bravely without sugar-coating it. As it is, I think it has even given you plus points in my mind.

Now I can relax and join the hordes of fans stalking the models around. Voting should be fun too, I like going over the previous shots and writing insane amounts of text about what I think about each and every one of them (just kidding... I promise to be short and to the point about it).

I'm not the type to brood over losses. Actually, I feel rather hyper again. Looking forward to the next cycle, for more stalking goodness! I would also like to offer my services for any judging, photoshopping and other things that might be needed for future cycles. :3

Just like to say, I've checked in on this thread from time to time, and wow what a roller coaster.

Congrats to the final two, and congrats to Nilene for coming up with this and keeping it all together. Such a bizarre concept, yet so brilliant. A couple hiccups I guess, but generally very professionally done.

I'm almost tempted to enter the next cycle, just to see... but I know I'd probably never live up to the grace and beauty and creativity that the contestants have shown here (for the most part--and tension and nerves and sensitivity I think can account for the least part!).

Good luck!

Hey, I've never posted in here before, but I've been lurking around since about the beginning ^^!
Just wanted to say good luck to the final two! I went through all the evaluations again and I gotta say I overally liked Mortissia Faust best (the dance emote is beautifull!). As for the final three I liked Jaden Stone's over-posing on some of the pictures (I like week 3), I especially loved Perynne's photo for the Rally the Gods assignment, I think Burnout Chic has always been strong (I like those eyes on week 6!).
Maybe I'll try to get in next time as well (there WILL be a cycle 2 right?)

Drama, drama, drama! I'm more hooked on this thread than I would be on the TV show!

Earlier I remarked that my girls, while I love them dearly, are not model material...

But then I got to thinking about Sax. Well-travelled Sax, with every town on every continent unlocked. Beautiful Sax, with her penchant for hanging out in nice spots for excessive periods of time.

Provided ladies can enter the next cycle, I'll be throwing my head tattoo in the ring.

Which reminds me - I had an idea. What about allowing male characters to enter alongside the females? The difference between genders is less dramatic than the difference between professions.

I will most likely be flamed for this but Jaden looks like a Man......burnout should win And this is why I joined this competition, to prove people like you wrong. I've used what I had to work with to the best of my abilities. In this competition and the show models may have certain flaws or are unique in some way, the ones who do well don't try to conform and change who they are, but excentuate thier uniqueness and work with it.

This is like saying a model who isn't size zero is fat and shouldn't win. Well there are plus sized models and masculine models and they succeed because of the quality they produce, not just thier general features.

You have the right to vote for whoever you want, but please take the time to go through at least the evaluations and shoots before basing a vote on a general conception of both models.

...Go Jaden?

I've liked you and all of your risky poses from the start of this competition. I beleive you deserve to win, not based on what you've said about your competetors, because everyone had a right to their opinion, but because of your shots. Some people may think that because of your recent outburst, that you think nothing of the other people in this competition, but I don't beleive that. No one should ever be judged based on what they say or think, but what they do to back those words and thoughts up, and I think you've done a wonderful job of that. I will still pull for you, even though most everyone else will decide not to.

Jaden, you definately get my vote.

I've been reading this on and off for a few weeks now, and today went back to the beginning and looked at each contestant's body of work. For me, you win hands down. Please don't think that I'm detracting from the hard work and effort that others have put, I think you've all done amazingly, but for me Jaden, you have the edge.

As for what has happened over the last few pages, well, I didn't read the unedited post, nor would I want to. I will not be voting in a popularity contest, I'll be voting on who I think should be TNTM. And as I've said above, based on the body of work to hand, for me that's you.

Comments: I thought you were such a bore to talk to, I couldn't get anything out of you, I couldn't get any personality to show at all. It was really dreadful. I'm not sure if you were just shy of my presence or what, but there was nothing there. I know that you've stressed to me that english isn't your first language, so that could've been the issue, but all in all, personality-wise, I just didn't get a read on anything. Your responses to my questions we're pretty well grounded. But you really need to work on putting yourself out there and showing more personality.

Comments: I was surprised, in a good way. I was looking through the screens I was taking with you, and I was not impressed at all. I was really worried that you dropped the ball on this assignment, but when you sent in your submissions, all that worrying completely subsided. I was really impressed with the pictures you sent in. All of them had some "attitude", which you claim is your trademark. I totally get Ice Princess from that shot, unfortunately, I also get Ice Princess from your interview. You're not a warm person to talk too. Tbh i didnt fallow much of this thing i did look at pictures ( whice are really great, i have no idea how you guys do it) mostly and read judges comments at the end of each round, never felt need to post here, but this one is really just outrages. In this "interview" problem is not in the person that answerd them, questions you asked wouldn't show personality from anyone, why you enter this competition? and every question begging with so, so, so..if you took this thing this serous you could atleast try harder with questions ( as this ppl did with making screenies over and over again), that alone shows determination and creativity whice are very good signs of ones caracter. One thing is for sure, this shows your personality very well. Good job.

From tweleve to the final two, this has been an amazing journey for you guys. And throughout this whole competition, you guys have done some amazing work. We will now go through each of your portfolio once more side by side and compare Burnout Chic's pictures, to Jaden Stone's pictures. Starting with

Week 1: Origins:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rincess/01.png

Judge 1: The goal of this assignment was to produce an ad that represents your campaign of origin. To me, Burnout Chic, you made more of an impression than Jaden Stone. Burnout Chic's picture could easily be a movie or a soap opera poster ad. Jaden Stone, I don't get Factions from this shot at all.

Judge 2: I don't particularly like either of those shots, Burnout Chic yours actually don't live up to Prophecies as far as Lore goes, and Jaden Stone, yours just ddoesn't strike me as Factions right off the top. Between the two, I would say Burnout Chic has the better shot, I could at least see her campaign right off the bat whereas it would be more difficult to differentiate between Jaden Stone's picture.

Judge 3: I think assignment-wise, Burnout Chic does take it between the both of you, but as far as picture goes, I think Jaden Stone has the better picture.

Week 02 - Models Gone Wild

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rincess/02.png

Judge 1: Burnout Chic's picture is more striking than Jaden Stone's picture. The whole theme of Burnout Chic's picture just works for me. Jaden Stone's picture is very suspenseful, but it doesn't present as much raw emotion that Burnout Chic's picture does.

Judge 2: Burnout Chic has the better picture, here you go showing attitude, so I could definitely see how that works as your motif. I love everything from armor choice, to scenery, to specimen chosen. Jaden Stone, this picture is quite boring in comparison to Burnout Chic's picture. I just feel that there was more thought put into Burnout Chic's picture and that Jaden Stone could've done so much more.

Judge 3: I like Jaden Stone's originality in this shot, however, Burnout Chic definitely has the better shot as a whole.

Week 03: Winter Catalog

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rincess/03.png

Judge 1: Burnout Chic's picture is a little safe and very lackluster. Jaden Stone's picture totally blows me away, I love the elegance and the sleekness of the shot, and the color scheme, although a little dark, totally makes me think of satins and silks.

Judge 2: Jaden Stone has the better presentation on this one most definitely. Unfortunately, Burnout Chic's picture can't even compare to Jaden Stone's shot on this one. I'm going to side on Jaden Stone and say that Burnout Chic totally pick the wrong picture to submit, I still don't understand why the Victoria Secret Angel shot with the paragon wings was dismissed.

Judge 3: I think Jaden Stone's picture is by far the better picture for this week. Burnout Chic's picture was very bland compared to Jaden Stone's shot. Jaden Stone's shot was very elegant, very sexy, very chic. Burnout Chic was just boring.

Week 04: Rally The Gods!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rincess/04.png

Judge 1: If I had to choose, I would say Jaden Stone had the better picture, but believe me when I say I didn't really care for either of you two's shots.

Judge 2: Jaden Stone's shot fails because the god statue was just not readily seen at first glance. That shouldn't happen, ever. As for Burnout Chic, the movement wasn't there for me, you we're just as linear as the Lyssa statue.

Judge 3: It was a disappointing week for everyone in general. I would say Burnout Chic has the better shot, I actually like the spell casting stance, it was dark, but I prefer that over the search for Grenth in Jaden Stone's picture.

Week 05: Ciao Bello!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rincess/05.png

Judge 1: Burnout Chic has the better shot in my opinion, there was somewhat of an effort to be creative and interact with the male model, whereas Jaden Stone's shot was a bit safe.

Judge 2: I think this is the first time that Jaden Stone really capitalize on her androgynous features, this is the first shot where I can actually say this is a model and not a cirque de sol acrobat. Burnout Chic, your shot wasn't there for me

Judge 3: Burnout Chic's picture is much more prettier and livelier, but I think Jaden Stone's shot was better executed and more suited for modeling.

Week 06: Go-Sees Challange

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rincess/06.png

Judge 1: Jaden Stone's picture we're all over posey movements, if you can really tell me that overposing isn't your signature, than I would just drastically disagree, you've did it all nine of your go sees picture, and majority of your regular portfolio, whether you intended it or not, its what you've made yourself to be known for. You over posed to the point where the fashion and the idea of showing the armor pieces completely disappeared. Burnout Chic's picture showed much more variety as far as posing goes. I think both of you gave somewhat stale deliveries as far as talking about the fashion side of the armor.

Judge 2: I agree, this is exactly where all of us on panel really said Jaden Stone over poses way too much. Over posing isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if that's all youre basing your work on, than its not going to do you any good, flip through a magazine and tell me how many model shots you can actually see is posing like that. You can base any modeling career on over posing. Burnout Chic, your pictures we're ranging from bad to good, but at least there was a range in there at all.

Judge 3: I have to agree, very over the top, very unnecessary posing on Jaden Stone's part, but comparing to Burnout Chic's pictures, I think Jaden Stone has the better delivery. The poses are far more interesting to look at, however, that does take away from looking at the armor pieces, which is what we really wanted to see, so Burnout Chic's showing was more for the assignment.

Week 07: Who's The Boss?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rincess/07.png

Judge 01: Burnout Chic takes it for me, this is Beauty and the Beast, its so cute, the positioning for both you and the mob was perfection. It's very inspiring and fun. Jaden Stone's picture wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't bad, again lost points for the background. Burnout Chic definitely had the better showing in this shot.

Judge 02: Burnout Chic has the better picture, I think Jaden Stone's picture looked like a granny shot. The hips look massive, it looks like your back went out, it's so contorted to the point of no return. Burnout Chic's picture looked more young and fresh by comparison.

Judge 03: I loved Burnout Chic's shot, its so ballet inspired, its very pretty. I don't like the hex mark that is floating around the mob, but other than that, it's definitely better than Jaden Stone's shot.

Week 08: Double Or Nothing

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rincess/08.png

Judge 01: Burnout Chic's picture is my favorite between the two, it's much more hip, much more sexy. Jaden Stone's picture was a little rocky for me, I also didn't like the background you guys came up with, its not spectacular, but its not bad, its just a poor choice if your goal was to show great luxon sights.

Judge 02: Jaden Stone our one note, movement again, not great, not original, not my favorite. Burnout Chic definitely gets my pick for this week, you also won MOTW, and I think it was well deserved.

Judge 03: I loved Burnout Chic's picture, its really sexy, and it seems that all three of you we're in unison, in harmony, absolute my favorite shot that week. Jaden Stone's picture, not so much, you're flooding us with movement, I'm hoping you see why we harp at you about that, if you really take the time and look at every shot you submitted, it really does get over bearing with the poses. Generally speaking, its all you do.

Week 09: Signature Pose

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rincess/09.png

Judge 01: Jaden Stone, that's not your signature, if there was another person that has your exact look and I had to choose between the two of you which one was which, I would be looking for something over posey to differentiate between the two, signature is what pulls out out of the pack, this is not your signature. Burnout Chic, that's more you, we've seen this in the past, and that is you. Both of your critiques we're up to par, but I have to favor Burnout Chic's comments simply because they pair up more versus Jaden Stone's comments.

Judge 02: I think Burnout Chic has the better picture, but Jaden Stone has the better critique excluding the scoring which was just out right not fair.

Judge 03: Boths hots weren't signature at all, but I think Jaden Stone has the better shot, it's still movement, but more refined and matured. Burnout Chic, it's one thing to have attitude and be fierce, its another to look like a thugged out hood rat, which is what I think this picture is, not modelesque at all.

Week 10: The Finale

Judge 01: Burnout Chic's is the cover shot, Jaden Stone is the landscape shot. Jaden Stone's film had the potential, but the result was not there for me. Both of your interviews weren't exactly the best, but as far as picture goes, Burnout Chic has my pick.

Judge 02: Burnout Chic does have the stronger shot, I think both you and Nilene look great and strong. Jaden Stone, Nilene, waterfalls, mountains...Looking at Nilene's pictures, I was not impressed with what I saw was submitted by Jaden Stone.

Judge 03: Burnout Chic has the better picture, but Jaden Stone's picture absolutely takes my breath away, its so beautifully done, I loved it.

Overall:

Judge 01: I actually felt that Jaden Stone has been the better performer, but after doing this comparison, I think Burnout Chic has the better portfolio. As far as personality goes, both of you had your ups and downs. Burnout Chic, I think you can get a little too aggressive, and the blowout with the plus size model thing was not something that worked for your favor. Jaden Stone, same comment, my jaw dropped when I saw what was said, throughout this competition, you had been the most calm, and collected person, you embraced every challenge and never questioned anything, and when you said what you said, I was a shocked. I'm not sure if you just cracked under pressure, or what, but it was not impressive at all.

Judge 02: I think both of you guys have a fair portfolio. I think Burnout Chic has the better potential, but as Jaden Stone pointed out, your selection is not where it needs to be, my guess is that you are concentrating too much on the art and photography, and not the fashion and model side. Jaden Stone, what a surprise to see that outburst, but in your defense, Burnout Chic had that outburst with the plus size modeling as well. Either way, both will not be tolerated and will hurt you in the final vote.

Judge 03: I could go either way, I think both of you have your perfections and flaws. I really don't know where this will go, I could see either of you two being our winner, and I would be happy either way. Just have to wait and see the results!

Alright guys, at this time, the poll is up for Tyria's Next Top Model, so please cast your votes where you see fit! Our winner will be announced on February 25, 2007...good luck to both Burnout Chic and Jaden Stone!

I would like to remind everyone...

Please do not talk about the numbers in the poll or who you voted for. If I wanted it known who voted for whom I would have set the poll up that way. Please keep who you voted for to yourself.
