I'll probably give my Ritualist and Necromancer to my son's and have them play them (unless they want new characters) in which I'll probably delete them in order to save on slots.
I'm pretty much getting the hang of the game again after a long abscence (just got factions and don't like any of the new professions).
When Nightfall come out, will you erase your Assassin and/or Ritualist

no, i am dedicated to unlocking all skills and having one primary of each profession... granted at times, it may be easier to roll a pvp toon instead... but a pvp toon is fashion police emergency.
My assassin makes me a lot of money, running ppl to beacons perch.
My ritualist owns.

I don't have a Rit, but I'll be keeping my Assassin and changing her secondary to Dervish because I can't find any secondary for her that currently exists that I like. If I test out the 2 new secondaries and don't like them, I'll probably delete my Assassin. Currently I have my Assassin using Mesmer secondary for Distortion and Illusion of Weakness, but I hope to find some better Dervish skills to replace those. Faithful Intervention looked like a good replacement for Illusion of Weakness, so I'm hopeful.
I played through factions with my Assassin, deleted him because I didn't use him for anything else, tried a rit, didn't like him and deleted him. Right now I just have a Necro, Warrior, Ranger, and Monk with two open slots that I use for PvP and I'm going to just create a Paragon without deleting anything.

Sins arent bad. You just have to know how to work them. The other professions are just easier right out of the gate. After I got the hang of shadowstepping, the sin was one of my faves to play. He won't be going away any time soon.
Rit is probably my favorite profession to play. I doubt that will change with Nightfall, regardless of Anets choice to not give them new stuff.

hmm, let me anwser the quistion, i never liked a assasin so much, i think those combo's are enoying, but... on the other hand you have te lurn to work with them, a ritualist is what i like though, and when the pvp test came out... i thought a dervish was pretty cool and usefull, and... i still have one slot free :P but i cant work with an assasin, although there pretty enoying sometimes in pvp, and then i'm pretty impressed about what they can do, but like i said i think a dervish is more my style

I heard of only one additional character slot unless you get one early if you preorder. Check Link:

To people who are asking, "Why would you delete, you get two new ones come Nightfall," it's because some people prefer the Prophecies professions.
Actually, I already deleted my rit and 'sin; make an ele and war instead. Come the 3 new slots (assuming I get the prerelease) I'll make a paragon, a dervish, and a mes. That'll let me have one of every core and nightfall profession, and a pvp slot.
