these lvl 24-28 bosses arent balanced at all. i was reading the wiki on channeled strike and theres no way a lvl 28 boss cna deal 248+ dmg with channeled strike. he would have to have way over 25 attributes in channeling according to the damage chart. and dont you just love obsidian flame when you sprint passed the newly nerfed warrior boss in raisu palace explorable while chest running, and the ele dragon sneaks out (and has a rediculously sensative aggro) and hits you just as youre in a comfort zone trying to smite or heal with 148hp and get hit by obs flame which takes you down in one hit with over 180dmg.

It is possible for bosses to do up to 6 times the normal damage.
A while back I was helping some guy through factions. He was a pure pvp player but wanted some of the vanity armours.
He used an axe shock warrior.. with frenzy.
We were fighting some ele boss and suddenly he goes from full to zero hp in less than a millisecond.
Imo... it's situations like these where a warrior can make the difference between a dead party and a living one.
Sentinel armour (half damage)+shield (another 25% less damage) with dolyak or whatever (damage halved again) and some small buffs here and there is no way a random partymember gets spiked... If you don't enter the warriors' aggrobubble.
Also, from the testing I've done so far, it seems that monsters do not care about your "max health" or "max armour". They only care about your CURRENT status.
If you have a lot of hexes on you, some degen and less hitpoints (numbers, not %) than any other member of your party then you become the prime target.
So if you have 60dp and don't stay away from mean stuff, you probably won't get rid of the 60dp.

The main thing that bothers me about this is we probably won't see any balance to the problem until nightfall, as it seems GW/An "abandons" each module, with the exception of "game breaking bugs", and I doubt this will be deemed one.

ya hes thinking of dragon mosses. the dragon moss, like all npcs, tend to use skills in the same order every time. the reason u died was most likely because they all cast shatter stone at the same time.

I remember reading that due to the way the math was done the effective damage of elemental and ritualist cantha bosses was more like 3x. I can attest to personnaly being 1HKO by both Ele and Rit while at full health and no dp with full 60al necro armor. In fact in the case of the Ele I believed he killed over half my party with one attack. I've seen spikes from the Rit usings ashes, near where you get the Flesh Golem elite of above 1000 dmg. I don't think this has been changed so you can likely go test it now yourself.

the AI's math is flawed in many areas, well at least how it is implemented. For example, an npc should not deal more or less damage based on how many are in your party, but it's very clear lower amount of players in a group results in the npc getting stronger, no doubt this was the devs idea to imply the "strength" of the npc, but as stated this formula is flawed.
I do think a lot of these problems we have spoken of here are the result of Anets attempt to curb farming, on any level. I know they say they have not made any changes, but that does not mean they don't have the ability to increase the difficulty etc, based on lower groups. I went to the falls last night in various groups, and I realized the lower the number of players in my group the higher the number of npc's spawned in the same area.
Farming, either by bot or players is slowy killing the game, in that Anet is going to keep making things tougher until they ruin the game.

One hit kill NPCs are pretty rad, but not when they target my Survivor character tho. Lost tier 2 because of it. A crazy 400+ direct damage towards my Necro.

Ritualist and Elementalist bosses DO for the most part have triple Dmg Spells.
From doing Ghial 13HP monk runs (Which includes letting Orison, The Tranquil or w/e kill me for the 13HP).
His Channeling Strike hits my 60AL tats for 368 Dmg if it gets its conditonal dmg, and Like 216 if it doesn't.

I was soling Yeti, and one could heal faster than I could hit him, stood there for 20 mins it was nuts. He was by himself no others around.
