Assassin without daggers questions

Can an assassin using other weapons than daggers still use his/her attack skills that are not related to dagger mastery.

I'd like to build an assassin/warrior, but I might want to be able to use sword/axe/hammer occationally.

If I do an axe-assassin, can I still use skills like Black Lotus Strike/Critical Strike/ ... etc.

More specifically :

do off-hand attacks work ?
do dual attacks work ?

what limitations are there ?

No. No assassin attack skills work with other weapons.


However, things like ' sharpen daggers ' DO work. They don't require daggers. So, you can make people bleed with a hammer, a wand etc.

Assassin attack skills DO work with other weapons. But assassin attacks related to dagger attacks do NOT work.

I posted a Hammer Assassin build here some time back. I use Sharpen Daggers, Wild Blow, Iron Palm, Crushing Blow, Entangling Asp, Irresistable Blow to shut down and spike with it.

Iron Palm and Entangling Asp can be used with any other weapon (Provided you use Iron Palm as your lead, then Entangling Asp will still come out, even if you use other weapon attacks in between). Same goes for Palm Strike. All these attacks do NOT require the use of daggers to work.

Any attacks from the dagger mastery or critical strikes line of skills are not usable unless you are using daggers. Most of deadly arts, shadow arts are usable.

SAPhoenix, stuff like Iron Palm and Entangling Asp are not attack skills.

Ok, does Iron Palm heal the opponent when it hits? Or maybe it just distracts them briefly for a few seconds and you blow 10 energy for no reason.

Even if it isnt listed anywhere as an "Attack" skill, Iron Palm does DMG. I will agree with you on Entangling Asp, as it is classified as a spell, not a skill.

I know what's coming so I'll say this before it does odly, you can use Iron Palm (Lead), Entangling Asp (Spell) and Palm Strike (Off-hand) with other weapons.

Yes, but it's not an attack skills. Wail of Doom will not black those out for instance. So your point of "Assassin attack skills DO work with other weapons." is wrong, because every attack skill, IS related to daggers.

Iron Palm is a Touch Skill right? It is not attack skill but touch skill, that is why it is usable with any weapon or even no weapon.

Any Dagger Attack skill is unusable with any weapon other than Dagger.

Yes, but assassins don't have any attack skills that aren't dagger-related.
