My son went into Game in Norwich, Norfolk, UK to order his Nightfall CE, he also enquired about the Prelease Pack & they had it, they were kind enough to give him 2 copies 1 for him & 1 for me after he explained about my experiences with amazon.co.uk about it

Right now the bonus items stopped working too, and there is nowhere I can actually see I added this key to my account.

Like with the Factions items I do see thoose on my account....

Oh by the way for Holland they have been available since tuesday for me from Dynabyte.

Yes teh Pre-Release Bonus pack gives you the 2 extra weapons and 1 extra slot over the 2 you get when you get the full game. Also on the included CD there are extra's like guides images etc.

None of these items come with the release package, although I think what is on the CD will be included and expanded in the CE edition but not the weapons and not the 1 extra slot.

The word from most EB's Australia's only store selling Nightfall is one of Three options

1) "Nightfall, Guild wars you say? is that a X-box game?"

2) "Yeah we'll offer pre-release packs when there sent sometime before the game release date.... when ever that is"

3) "Yeah we have the packs" "No! not in store there being sent from distribution"

Any online store what are listed not sell here Finland either yet that pre-release pack even when it is mentioned in their site. More funny is that it is told to be available 9.15.

Not sure if its been said already, but with GAME in the UK, if you pre-order Nigthfall they give you the pre-order pack for free!

Meaning if you cancel you pre-order at a later day you get it for free. I did this last year as GAME pre-order system is a bit flakey.

Hello, there. I was one of the pll preordering Factions in Norway a while back.
And it all ended up in a big mess.

Well first everything went ok, exept for the actual release got delayed, but I was not to worry because they enshured me that my preorder key would work until my game package would arrive. so far all good.

Well, after that hell broke lose as Anet had delivered games to most of Europe, and shut down all of the preorder accounts, and I still hadent got my pacage, nor did most of the norwegian pll.

Wrote a complain about this and no responce

, And ingame folks just told me that I was actualy luckey they hadent deleted my character and all the stuff I had on the new ones....

And as it seems that Anet will be strikter on the rules this time around,So I dont really dear to preorder on Norwegian sites. A Shame really because I really want to.

So my question is, will Anet put up the preorder on their offical store or not?
I would feel mutch safer preordering from them.

It has been asked/answered several times already in the Q&A and Tech forum.

The bonus slot and items will not be available for the preview next weekend only when the game is actually out and you added that key.

For now you don't have to do anything and you haven't messed anything up, the Manage Keys will not show anything for now.

So no need to panic

Also if you notice what it says (you quoted it wrong) it says ".. you WILL already have the rights..."

Hello all,

Alex isn't available to update you all on the Prerelease Bonus Pack so here i am (the French GW CC)

So the news is that the missing Prerelease codes in the UK GAME stores seem to affect a relatively small amount of boxes. We intend to replace any boxes at the affected stores so none are given out without codes.

If there's a new update, i'll let you know!

Pre-order Packs are still a "now-show" in Germany. Only the online retailers and isolated retailers have so far offered it. the big chains listed on the official website show no sign of havingt them.

I think they got a bit confused, and didn't seem to understand by what I meant about a prelease pack for Nightfall so I have emailed them again clarifying what I meant

I got the exact same response so I got back in touch explaining clearly what the bonus pack was including linking them to the eu. website for guildwars "where to buy" and showing them an example of the pre-order pack on other amazon sites and they said the following:

Here's my situation:

I live in Portugal (and I'm portuguese), I'm totally addicted to GW and when this pre-order pack was annouced and only thought of getting it. But in Portugal our retailers really, REALLY suck. So probably we're never going to have the pre-release pack over here (we had factions pre-order pack in FNAC stores, but Nightfall prerelease cant be seen anywhere) I checked all stores with ramifications in UK: Fnac, Game, Virgin, etc. None has the Pre-release pack.
So now I was thinking of ordering it online. But, since I want the physical pre-release pack and not just a damn key, it seems that there inst any UK Online Site that could send me my physical pre-release pack. Any one here knows a website (preferably UK's) that can send me a pre-release pack while pre-ordering the CE, or Nightfall Simple Edition?

No sign of the boxes in Norway. A few of the listed sites now have GWN up for preorder - but no mention of the bonus key - mostly they have the box art and nothing more.

As I understand it, the three options are stores selling the boxed pack, online stores selling the boxed pack and online stores giving just the keys.

Amazon are down as only selling/giving the boxed pack so they shouldn't have sent any keys out by email.

I'm portuguese too, went to Forum Almada Fnac, and they said that they would have the game this month (i went there in September). I want the Pre-Release too just for the free slot and now im desperate because 27 October is coming and they don't have the damm Pre-Release...

P.S: I'm not talking in Portuguese for obvious reasons...

No it's free if you buy the full game too, they only charge the £24.99 if you cancel the full game pre-order after.
