CONFIRMED - heroes will be able to travel to Tyria and Cantha

edit: You can use them at all places you can use henchmen.. so you can take them into gvg for example, but not into FoW or w/e.

also, there will be new titles in nightfall other than protector/explorer. That's about all I remember from her visit :P

My paragon is going to blow through prophecies and factions so quick its going to be funny. Wonder if our heroes can get infused?

Nice to have it confirmed, I figured it would be true because during the event Cantha and Tyria characters had hero slots in there inventory and the 1 2 3 flags. We're still gonna have to go to Elona with each character to get them though.

You are thinking too small, Tadace. "Protector of Tyria" will be ridicolously easy to get. "Protector of Cantha" will be much easier to get (due to less incompetant people). The Cartographer titles will also be pretty easy to get, since you can blow through fights.

Kind of A Big Deal won't be as big of a deal. Although I'll live with that.

I won't mind just being able to do missions on my assassin, assassin is so much fun to play but nobody wants to group with them..

Heroes aren't that much better then henchies its the player behind the heroes that will make them good and if the player is skilled enough then they deserve it, in my opinion.

So it won't be that much easier for most but it will be for those who are experienced with the game.

Heroes are many times more powerful than their henchie counterparts due to their extreme customizabilty. Best of all, they are infinitely more reliable than ANY 12-year-old rage quitter!

You never know. ANet has been busy lately with the bugs/lag/PvE event, and finishing up Nightfall that I hope they don't forget to include infusion as part of your heroes' armor-level progress.

I am sure you all also realize you can use henchman controls in Cantha and Tyria as well don't you? This alone will be awsome..

I realy hope there will be an Assassin & Ritualist HERO option...

lol, That's an understatemnt, I'm blown away with NightFall already with what we've been able to see & play, and now this just tops it even more now for me.


Anet has set the bar really hight for this chapter and it has me already wondering what they will have to do to top this one.

This is the most exciting news I've heard since Macaroni and Cheese was invented. Now what would kick even MORE arse, is if they also introduce special heroes originating from Cantha and Tyria... but I serious doubt they will.
