Note: in the new "meet the heroes" article on the main site, there is no mention of this necro which is on the pic in the first page...
Also the Master of Whispers is a Necro I think, either that or he is a character that can change BOTH primary and secondary profession.
Why? Because in the superlame socalled 'cinematic' on the prerelease disc (EXACTLY the same as can be downloaded on main site) he is a N/? with minions... cant be missed. :P

Norgu Struggling Artist "Fame is fleeting, but a good meal will keep you going for days. You want that roll?" Origin: Vabbi Age: 24 Profession: Mesmer/Actor Norgu is a classically trained actor, a visionary unappreciated in his own time, and a large, dramatic, boisterous glad-hander. As the leader of the Lyssan Fools acting troupe, he is currently on an extended tour of the estates of Vabbian nobles. Everywhere he travels, he leaves a memorable impression–such as his insightfully accurate and delightfully humorous parody of General Bayel in Gundara, a performance that should keep him on an extended tour for quite some time. Norgu claims to have traveled throughout Tyria and Cantha, including a standing-room-only performance at the Henge of Denravi. Moving quickly from one region to the next, he uses his sunny disposition and personal charisma to get last-minute invites to parties, audiences with the rich and powerful, and of course, free food. Norgu never met a buffet he didn't like. As long as the supplies hold out, Norgu can be a loyal and clever ally–and he's egotistical enough to make sure you never, ever forget that. |
Norgu is MY hero.
Doesn't Norgu look exactly like Raul Julia? Looking forward to his dialogue.
I really like most of the heroes. The necros are awesome. What's more awesome than that though, is that there are two of them. /applaud
I really hope there's a Rit hero.
Edit: I wonder if Master of Whispers is the uber Hero awarded at the end of the game, capable of playing any profession?

Master of Whispers is the guy that we'll all thank God we have once time goes by and we discover leet builds that require you to use heroes with the primary that you decided not to take back when you had to make a decision.
Also I can't think of any type of plot twist in any type of storyline that would require them to hide the profession of the Master Of Whispers in order to not spoil the ending. And if they did, it would probably be the stupidest plot twist ever.

| I bet 10k that Master of Whispers is Abbadon. |
Seriously, if you though it through, we would have to kill a hero that can go anywhere with us and stay with us...
Check my IGN, I'll take that 10k off your hands for you

A short bio of General Morgahn can be found on this page. And just so everyone knows, General Morgahn is the 4th person from the right in the lineup picture in the first post.
I tried a search for this and found nothing relevant to this particular question. So put down the torches please.
Anyway, I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on what profession he was. I know we'll all find out when Nightfall hits stores, but I'm rather bound to my curiosity. Plus I wanted to toss out this question: Do you think there is any possibility that a non-playable class(such as a new class from a future campaign or something inspired by a concept class) was given to him? Or did they perhaps him an ingenious build which no one has discovered yet?
I know its most likely they gave him a standard build, but that would be kinda boring considering his bio...He would still be mysterious storywise, but the great mysterious guy would probably end up receiving Rurik/Leeroy Jenkins type mockery.
/edit In my complete idiocy i forgot that you could switch around his skills, so a non-playable class/concept class wouldn't make much sense. That would have only worked if he were a regular henchie. Oh well.
Anyway, thats my rambling question. Any ideas?

Also, considering necro is the only core profession that doesn't have a confirmed hero, it makes sense that he is a necro. And yes, he does stand and have a pose just like a male necro.
I can understand not having rt or sin heros (since people with NF only won't be able to unlock skills for those heros). Oddly though, they don't have a paragon hero, which seems wierd to me.

I was also pondering this topic and I shall let my musngs follow:
No necromancer/paragon(assassin/ritualist) heroes are currently listed.
This makes me a bit sad because I wouldn't mind carrying around an SS nec, especially since they seem to have become less common in factions and I can't always play on my necro.
The armor style looks like a combination ritualist and necromancer.
Since ritualists are a non-core/NF profession, it is unlikely they will be included due to the loss of unlocks for players who don't own factions. However, due to his mystery of origin, it is still possible he could be an imported ritualist
and comes with a significant number of unlocks.
That said, I'd have to say with the female NF necro armor posted in screenshots in the PvE Preview annoiuncement, I'm leaning towards necromancer.

Personally reading his bio he sounds a bit like a paragon and his title "master of whispers" goes with that, but honestly I thought ele when I first saw him.... but I dunno, mabye necro, because he stands the way a necro does, although features wise he dosent seem to represent a necro so I have no idea
