since they are already blind shouldnt they be able to hit while they are blinded?
or always miss?

If they always missed then that would make having a damaging weapon useless. I like the idea of always hitting the target though.

That would be so funny. Would make the new breed of melee rit (Spirit's Strength) nearly as dangerous as IW warriors.
Still slightly worse I guess, as they have no stances to buff themselves against damage types.

IW Mesmers aren't remotely dangerous.

Depends on the situation. Any armour ignoring damage can be dangerous at a consistant 42. Especially when buffed with an IAS...

Aeson is blind. His father was ready to abandon him in the middle of the Jade Sea when Togo stepped in and offered to teach him the art of the Ritualist.

Still, not all Rits are like Aeson. Perhaps there is a spirit following them to guide their hand

They don't have the Blind condition on them so they don't miss.

You're going to have to make a separation between the actual definition of 'blind' and the GuildWars definition of 'blind'.

Actual Definition: You can't see
GuildWars Definition: Condition - 90% chance to 'miss' with attacks.
