Staff Concerns?

I have just heard that some staffs have lost their mods. Please post here with details and we'll fix it! Thank you!

On my Rago's Flame Staff, Galigord's Stone Staff, Runar's Brimstone staff, Scar Eater, and Kaolin Water Staff still have there 20/20 mods but everything else is gone (20% enchant, +5 energy, +5 armor ect.)

All green staves, across all characters....
Kaolins, Brohn's, Yakslapper, Willcrusher, Kepkekhat's, Vokur's, etc have lost all mods, and are now just the basic +10 energy with the 20/20 recharge-recast. All mods are gone.
My collector staves, on the other hand, that I had modded myself, those are fine.

In Kaenig Center (sp) people are selling and buying all their greens for 1k, they are spamming that all greens have lost any additional mods, such as wrappings, and heads. Someone said that their Victo's Bulwark has nothing but a green name.

Its obviously a bug, because they tryed to rid the game of 20% to all skills.

Basicly all green monk and mesmer ( those one I use ), lost all their mods, and now are just plain staffs.

Seriously I can't for the life of me figure out why people don't notice that these are "bugs" or "glitches".... Any change THAT big would obviously be put in the footnotes... *sighs* I haven't had a chance to check any of mine yet but if this imaging ever gets done and if I find anything I will surely let ya know ^_^

You would think that guild wars apocalypse is upon us the way people are freaking out in the game about everything. Bugs/Glitches get fixed, take a deep breath everyone

There are no 60hp mods as well, the hp was stripped off scar eater/kaolins/the darkwish... the list continues on the hp staves lol

You know, an update this big, I suppose its understandable to have one very large glitch. Still, I wait in vein hope for an update, eventually, that doesn't bug up half the game when its added. See my avatar for a current summery of my mood...

I know things will be fixed, every update has its bugs, with that being said...
I'm glad I didn't spend hours farming for greens for my hero's. I plan on loading them up with weapons and runes the old fashioned way...hard work, combined with neccessity, those things makes a great motivational tool.

It's pretty sad that this update hit a few friends of mine hard. A very close friend of mine spent nearly 500k on 10/10 recharge and 10/10 casting staves, skins ranging from Celestial to Zodiac, now all of which are made to look like trash compared to greens? Does Anet plan to up the recharge on currently existing Gold 10/10 recharge staves or say "tough luck" to those who bought them before this update?

FYI: Gordac's Needle and my green Wayward Wand are fine. (so wands are apparently unaffected)

This isn't a staff issue, although I have the same problems with my green staves.
My green dye and yellow dye will not stack with my other stack of those two colored dyes. Also, the tint of the vials for those colors is different.

All the green staves that I've seen, except for one, had their prefix and suffix vanish.
The only one that I own that didn't have this bug was The Stonereaper. However, this staff is bugged too in that it still has 20% recharge keyed to curses attribute. This should be changed over to all spells and no longer be aligned to an attribute.

My ghauls and mithrins have suffered the loss of +1 Skill 20% and there 20% recharge now applies to all spells. I thought this was supposed to be the case due to this from the GW site

We already know what dropped on *almost* all the staffs. All the wrappings and heads disappeared from green staffs. This is probably a simple mistake in the code from where they tried to change all the 20% recharge to overall instead of a specific attribute.
Just look for a fix in the next few days, or possibly a way to add the insignias and the such easily in Nightfall.
