This new forum features is courtesy of FrogDevourer and the Servants of Fortuna guild, as well as a big thanks to GuildWiki.org. Below you'll see the commands for pulling up the skills (remove the space after the [ character).
- This is up-to-date all the way to the pre-release Nightfall skills.
- The wiki tags are especially helpful as they'll list out the bosses, locations and items.
- These are case sensitive. So to get Sprint to show up you have to type it as Sprint and not sprint, SPRINT, etc.

although i knew of a similar thing created by a old dutch guild a long long time ago (CeN was friend with it so they had the same thing)

Seriously though : You need to be able to put something like [ skill=16]obsidian flame[/skill] and get the accurate damage number with a mouseover. Well, it'd be nice, at least

Now I just cant wait til forum tards abuse it by putting like 10000 of the huge ones on all their posts and get it taken away from us.

I would just take away the Huge Picture version :\

The Blue Text version (wiki especially) is good for answering questions about the skills, or suggesting the skills to someone.

Example: "I suggest you use the elite [skill=text]Glass Arrows[/skill] in this build"

The Icon version is good for Posting Builds (many right now just take the picture of their skill bar, lol)

GW lets you disable tooltips on skillbars and effect monitors
Some terrific peeps enable tooltips on my favorite GW forums

I think the large one is a bit overkill but wants me to print out color cards

Thanks for the kind feedback. I'd like to note that these tooltips were possible only thanks to the hard work of those keep our guild database up-to-date, and thanks to the hard work of all the contributors of GuildWiki who wrote the articles I used to make the tooltips. I can only take credits for the card creation engine and for the tooltip/vB mod. Quite a modest contribution in comparison.

Anyway, feel free to post bug/error reports and suggestions in this thread:

As you can see on the card/minicard tooltips, the package currently installed on GWG has been produced a few days after the NF WPE. We need to update the database (today's update, final version of the NF skills...) and to add Nightfall icons (waiting for the official fan kit) to make a new up-to-date release.

You'll get more details about the ins and outs of the wiki tag here. In short, the demo wiki tag has a shortlist of notable articles for which the tooltip is displayed automatically. The current list includes greens, elites and bosses with at least a green or an elite. I may add more in the future.
