Why the hell would you pay 20 bucks to look cool while dancing...in a game? Woopty doo you are glowing wow I really envy you! Not really, when I own your arse in PvP. And you payed 20 bucks to sell the pet? You might as well had payed 20 bucks for gold.

As for paying 20 dollars to sell a pet I can't answer that , you probally can buy more gold for 20 dollars.

Oh, hey, even more to share, and some cool tips to make it all work. 
According to Rebecca Coffman, the lead of our Animation Team, there is a certain amount of exploration and extension of cool design philosophy in making each Collector's Edition dance. Rebecca explained that for each campaign, the team tries to incorporate a different style or a new depth of design into the Collector's Edition dances. For Factions, the Assassin and the Ritualist put on a sort of "broadway show," with the spotlight and the backup dances. For Nightfall, we're able, for first time, to offer dances that have their own individual elements but which also "sync up" in places. Note that this is syncing as you've not seen syncing before: Across the two professions and across the two genders! I just saw a Dervish female and a Paragon male executing a really elegant dual dance routine!
Now, here's the info you need to see all this:
(And while it's off topic, I have to add: Talking about buying gold? Come on, you guys have read the User Agreement, you know that selling or buying gold is going to result in an account termination when it's discovered. (And it's discovered literally every day.) Just say "No" to gold purchases!)

- Type /dancenew for the new dances.
- Type /dancenew * to see the elegant way in which the dances mesh.

I find the Nightfall "signature dance" to be totally awesome- Ive said it about 3 times in various threads now- you gotta sync up with other CE dancers ftw.

when I first say the dances, I did them by myself and thought, "wow, that is kind of lame." Then my guild got a couple together and did the sync, and I finally saw why they are cool.
The point of these dances is not to show off that you bought the CE, but to dance with other people. Very good idea.

so my question is will those who have the gwp ce get divine aura on all their new characters--factions and nightfall, or just prophecy characters (which is as it should be).......
will wait to make my final determination on the excess monetary units I shelled out yesterday for the 'new' dance to be competed.....

just a quick comment Gaile... the release of Nightfall is definitely less stressful than that of Factions...thank you ANET for that....i understand that you guys are all very busy....but I am sure that many would agree that the priority of getting the game out to the players and promising quality ingame/inbox content is essensial...
Faction- gg to pre-order...I had to wait for weeks to get Factions CE and many people canceled CE , got the regular edition in order to beat the game with their guild....
NightFall- CE signature dance was promised within game-content and us hardcore fans expected a signature dance that would surpass the previous editions...I am glad that it is being worked on right now and will be release in a couple days....but dont you think something like that should be programmed many days before today's release date?
I am happy for your positive response Gaile .....many of us + the thousands that are playing the game was sadden and discouraged by it......i mean, consider those who have not read about this post? they will be like WTF@##$@^#@# for a few days....

Also the signature dances looks way better with Divine Aura on and syncing with another player, alone... meh.

/dancenew on my dervish reminds me of a dance we did back in high school when I took an African Dance class to satisfy my PE requirement.

heh at the start of the thread I was like, hmm was upgrading to CE from SE pre-order a good idea? But now I'm completely happy again...but I'm a nerd and really like the art books anyway!

Can anybody take a quick video of a couple of dervish ce's dancing together? I can't find anybody to dance with me, or anybody else already doing it. I want to see!

I'm quite happy with the /dancenew. I wasn't around for the Factions release, but we had this same problem at the Prophecies release. People were saying things like, "OMG! Anet charges us $20 for sparks on our hands while we dance?!". No. Your extra money buys you the Soundtrack, the larger box, the (gorgeous) art book, the map, etc. If you're buying the CE for the in-game items, frankly, you're buying it for the wrong reason. I bought the Prophecies CE, and the Nightfall CE, and I'm extremely happy with both purchases, and would buy them both again, knowing exactly what they get me. It's really, really not about the in-game stuff, folks. Those are extras.

Oblivously lots of people like having new dances and a lot of people buy it for that reason. Just because YOU don't care about the in-game stuff or don't think it should be about that doesn't mean other people don't.

Whoa.. Disco Balls and Confetti tossing. And when you sync it just looks even better. If only I could keep Divine Aura on while dancing.
Oh and if you start dance new, and then switch to dance.. you can do the normal dance with special effects.

here´s my opinion + few suggestions how to make them even better:
opening and final part is really cool, when disco ball is destroyed/remade... but in rest of dance, yea, there should be MORE of glowing or glitering too (it just looks little bit empty), so you don´t have just disco ball above you (or maybe during that time, disco ball should change its color and spread light around )

same goes for paragon, confeties should be there longer and they should remade when is paragon hmm how to call it.. flexing? in 3/4 of dancing...
but nevermind... dances are so sweet... i can´t stop watching them

Really, Im not satisfied with the "effects" taht have been added to the sig CE dances... They look like fast cheap work... Compare them to Divine Aura or Factions Sig dances, they are so... uh... well, cheap... :/ Flying squares? Sorry not impressed, Id rather turn them off... Why cant you add something pretty and for once, something extra for ALL the classes, not just new ones :/

My femal Dervish CE looks awesome. Not only do I get a disco ball, but also blue sparks spiralling around me and shooting from my hands, NOT squares like the Paragon have.
