I talked to a WaMo in SS d1, he claimed that Elemental Swords were the best sword skin ever (he hasn't seen a dead sword, I asked), and that wouldn't end up like GPBs because... wait for it... GPBs were UGLY. That seems gto be the general opinion of people ingame the only char i can see using one of these on is an ele with a +5en mod... and wacked-out armor

I, too, think it's pretty overrated. The Fiery Gladius is alright, but I really like my non fiery Gladius. But the FDS is still my favorite sword. Hah!

wow another skin that is rather depressing, almost as bad as the GPB. Ill just stick with my Wingblade or crystalline when i feel the need to use swords. (which rarly occurs) Though i would not mind getting one being that people pay so much for them.

Not really, considering they do drop in Nightfall with inscriptions slots and you can add the +5e mod to them.

The Elemental Sword skin isn't ugly, but unique. The dual elements shows the chaotic stat of the powers of the blade.
You guys have to think bigger than armor, color, and if it's fashionable.
The blade is awesome. The Fiery Gladius is awesome,too. I got a perfect gold one out of a chest, and I'm not even past Jahai fortress yet(Did I get that name right?)
The Fiery Gladius can be dyed btw, and the blade changes colors as well as the afterglow of the flames. Good sword skins,IMO. The GPB is also a good looking skin.

I've been swinging a Spatha with my Warrior since Day 1. (ok maybe day 2) I love that skin. To me it doesn't really matter though. It's the stats that make the difference. I have 4 swords and 4 axes I keep for different builds and use them all. Zealous/Defense FTW!
