Normally I don't see dye drops, so I guess this is the result of the double drop.

I only ask because I've been playing for hours over the past two day's and haven't had a single dye drop for me!

Got nothing, but not really big with the caring. Got 4 missions done, explored a ton of territory and leveling my heroes and their pets.
If you really want dyes, I'd suggest you do what most dye farmers do. Go solo the newbie areas and kill the low level monsters. Quick to kill and all drops for you. Going in the high level areas with a full party won't see you get much. Even with double drops.

Our guild was playing in Tombs last night ... and we got like 6 dyes drop over the team of 8. No one remembers seeing so much dye in there ever before.
I've been trying to be good and get my monk through Prophecies (and test the heroes) before I get hooked on exploring Elona. This weekend I've seen what seem like unusually frequent dye drops in the desert and south Shiverpeaks, just while questing.
Perhaps someone flipped the wrong switch and set it to everywhere except Elona?

Over the weekend i got one dye drop in Elona and around 10 in Tyria. Seems a little strange.

One blue dye so far and I have been playing several hours every day since it started.

1 frikkin blue dye so far and this was my longest PvE session since times immemorial. But I'm not really surprised, I remember my first level 20 character, getting his first dye drop ever in the timed Crystal Desert mission where you have to carry pieces of some crap to the ghostly hero.
I'm guessing it's one of them "anti-farming" thingies gone wrong.

hm, I took my tyrian ele out north of kamadan, got a mess of dyes (red, purple, silver and brown).....on one trip, havent gotten a single dye since then (last night).....and the ele boss gave me a starter green too! I then went to other areas my character have never been, nothing, did the mission got lots of bones, lots and lots of them.
Hubby only got 1 blue for all his efforts this weekend----and he is the lucky one when it comes to drops!

9 dyes all up, only normal colours of no huge value. Most of the dyes were found on Noob island. I solo'd my way around finishing off all of my quests, no henchies or heroes taking up my drops. Nine level 18 fiends really make light work.

I got 100+ scrolls for the double scroll weekend a while back (yay...) and 1 yellow dye for the double dye weekend. Seriously, I got more dye during the double scroll weekend (about 12, including 1 out of 5 black dyes I saw drop) than I did this weekend. Oh well.
Also note, I saw no one else get any dye this weekend and I was only using heroes/henchmen about 20% of the time I played. For the most part, I was in full player parties (besides when you have to bring a Hero for a mission or quest which I think is just stupid. Make it a NPC!)

Something was seriously wrong with this Double Dye Drop weekend. I've got nothing but gold, purple, blue weapon/rune drops over the weekend and only 2 dye drops. I think that they messed up on this one.

As for me...one brown and that's it. Double dye drops my ass...I've seen more dyes drop on a normal weekend. Btw, that's with over 24 hours of gameplay this weekend...that's with fighting my way around the map to explore. I only got that dye drop an hour before I went to bed on Sunday evening. GG.

My wife ended up with a few random colors, 1 white and 1 black. Me? I got a green dye. That's it. Probably played around 13 hours this weekend, and I got one measly dye. Arrgh!

i found 1 silver & 1 brown. guildie found a orange & purple in the same group(s) area. that was all for the both of us thru the whole event. and I had about 20-24 hours in. he had about 15 hours. of course we were on the mainland, possibly made a difference? sucks alot. dye prices still didnt fall either.

When I was in groups or with henchies I had one dye drop all weekend, which I couldn't get too because of a glitch in the quest with the nobleman where they surround you and you can't move if you get too close too a wall.
On my solo runs through the area right outside of the Sunspear Academy, I was getting a bunch, my best was 1 black, 1 white, four silver, and a bunch of others.

Had better luck farming Charr during Halloween. That netted me 6 silver, 2 brown, 1 red, 1 yellow, 7 purple, 1 blue, 3 orange, and 4 green in 4 hours pay time. All weekend I was leveling up my heroes and got 1 brown and a red. Oh well.

I had around 15 drop during my 3 or 4 hours this weekend. 1 black, a few silver, red, blue , orange, yellow. I just ran my Canthan W/Mo from LA to Elonia and spent a few hours wandering the lowbie areas. Also made about 8k selling off blues, runes and gems from engravings. Critters seemed to drop the most dye, but Corsairs dropped better loot.

I did 2-3 missions and was farming for sunspear points at least 10+ hours over the 3 days. Result = 1 single green dye.

I think I found the problem--and it really pissed me off.
If I went out solo with only my pet, I had one dye drop per go on four tries. Period. And nothing higher than a red (which is fine since I love red). I took my warrior out solo (no pet) and got absolutely nothing. Same with my monk in a little higher areas, got nothing.
If I went out on a quest, even if I went out with only one hero or hench, I got zilch (except for the very last quest I did in the Lahtenda last night that finally yielded a purple). And I was out most of the day yesterday testing this.
So farm = dye.
Quest = probably nothing.

I got 15-20 dyes this weekend. Didn't start farming till late Sat (1-2 runes) a couple hours between Church Services yesterday and couple of hours last night. Best I got was 1 Silver and 2 Brown, the rest where the various other colors. I even got 3 again just a few mins ago.
