NF draining your money reserves?

i used about 150k
50k on a +5 energy dead sword
50k on a forgotten sword
50k on keys >_<

all you need is kinda crappy drops and to have them all at high lvls by the time you get to the mainland in NF. Thats one thing i dont like, theyve been making it so with each new campaign, you have to be at a higher lvl by the time you get to the real part of the game. in the original, you only had to be lvl 5 or 6.

Yes, but then you had a loooong way to go in lower level areas. It really doesn't take much to get to level 15-18 by the time you leave the island. You'll level quickly on the mainland since the monsters are much higher level.
