Disappointment with the double dye weekend

Well in my opinion the weekend was a waste i spend nearly 50 hours farming for dye all over elona and found 3 dye, 2 brown and a green. on an average i will find double if not tripple that amount in 30 hours of play. I want to hear if any one else had feelings like this because im now sad because I wasted that time looking for what wasnt there.

Play more and whine less.

i didn't notice anything, i got one yellow dye, whooptee, first day of nightfall my first drop was a white dye, :| oh well

I wonder if dye really matter for us!

No noticable drop rate increase here, as a matter of fact, I found more dye farming Charr carvings during Halloween then I did farming for dye. After all night friday hoping for dye drops I gave up and continued on with the game.

I got 2 white dyes so I can't complain :>

I got more dye, mostly purple (4 or 5 I think). No white/brown/black though.

I didn't get any dye, and I don't care. It's just... dyes.

I got total of 5 dyes only from this event.

I got a total of 1 puple dye in Elona all weekend.. Got a white helping my son in Shing Jea (not part of the Double Dye thing). I played about 25-30 hours over the course of the weekend, all but about 3 hours of it in Elona.

I usually average about 1 dye every 5 hrs or so.. So not so great for me.. oh well.. not the end of the world.. WOuld rather have a double rune weekend personally so the supplies can get restocked and the prices a little closer to normal.

I got 2 and my husband got 1. However, we don't typically net that much dye anyway, so I'm cool with that. I'm almost thinking it had to be tweaked just a little more to really matter (maybe 3x...).

But it was decent incentive for the dye hoarder types to farm a bit (I *love* stockpiling dyes and suck at it).

For the small bit of pve I did, I got 3, as opposed to the usual none.

Did anyone here got like multiple white or black dye dropped for them?

I got 1 purple, 1 blue, 1 green over the 3 hours or so I managed to play this weekend so I'm not really complaining

I found that Olias and Jin were secretly stealing all my dye drops. They had decided to sell them Varesh since she needed them to keep her multi-colored robes from fading in the Elonian sun...

i wasent even trying for dye and i got more black and white dyes than anything.

2 white
1 black
1 silver
1 brown

I played all weekend. My grand total is now 2 yellow dyes. Go me!

Double dye weekend is so great! Instead of buying 1 grey dye at the merchant, i bought a whopping TWO!

I had one good run, the rest nothing.....but today (monday) I got 2 dyes killing the ettins in the northern shiverpeaks!!!
Hope its back to normal now and I can go back to ascalon and farm for dyes (and get some too!!)

I played almost the whole weekend, and was hoping for a dye drop the whole time, but I didn't get a single one! Towards the end of the weekend, I got so depress about not getting dyes, I ended up buying them from the merchant so I could re-dye some of my armors with the improved dye system. Well I guess it was double dyes.. buying double the amount of dyes that is...
