Ok, I myself have my very first char from guildwars prophecies, my necro, and i still haven't deleted him.
How many other people actually feel sentimental about the first character they ever made? and how many people just deleted them when they needed another slot?
Also what prof was that character?

one of the errors that i made was to delete my first character(she was 14 months old) and now i miss her alot..and i feel like i just wasted a part of my life lol

My first char was a W/Mo since I joined this forums first day I got GW and asked which prof I should do. I delted him in a couple of weeks and moved on.
I tried every other prof and then stuck with my W/Mo again. He is now my farming W/Mo. I also have a W/Mo to try and beat Prophecies, A R/Mo to try and beat Factions, and a Ele/Mo I just started to play with my friend that just got GW.

I deleted my ranger which would be 15 months old now :/.
It makes me sad.
Also, I got 15k Drakeskale for him a week before I deleted him. I think that's probably why I deleted him. O.O (This was a while ago)

I still have my original character. She started out as a R/E but has since mastered many other secondaries. I've probably played her as much as all my other characters combined. I made a rule that I will never delete a character which I have progressed to level 20. As a result, I have 12 pve character across my two accounts.

I feel very partial to my first character, a male ele. It took me until I was level 7 to realize that I made a typo in his name and made it "Teh Shadow." I didn't want to remake him, so I just kept the name

My first character was a R/E, created first night of prophecies being released. I then deleted him after two weeks only to remake him two months later 
. He has been with me since then, and shall live forever (well as long as the game lasts)

my real first char was a monk, which lasted about a day until I realized I had no idea what i was doing so i deleted the monk. I then created a warrior figuring it would most likely be easier to learn the game that way. My second char 'Acherulis Maximus' a warrior is still around today!

My first character was a male ranger/mesmer. I loved him and got my first 15k set (druid's) with him along with the Wintersday hats. The only reason I deleted him was because I wanted a different hairstyle and ANet hadn't shown any signs of adding a hairstylist npc. And I had just started getting my 15k drakescale too.
He would've been about a year and a half old by now, but instead he's about 8 months. I'll never delete him again! lol

i have all my chars, 10 in total. i dont delete them unless i just created them and decide i dont like the name. my first char is my mes/nec and i put him through the chapters first

My Tyrian Ranger created day of Prophecies release. It's the only one of my characters that has seen and done nearly everything, though for some strange reason, I opted to monk through Nightfall first. But my ranger is still the character, and profession, I love playing the most.

My first char was actually a warrior, to be technical. After I walked around pre for about 5 minutes(and feared what I might become), I deleted him and started up Sli.
I've been playing my monk ever since with an occasional venture to level up my second char, the ranger Kendrick. I haven't bothered to take the time to get anyone else past pre, and Kendrick only barely made it to level 20 before I switched back to monking...

my first character was actually a monk. i made it about 20 min on him and deleted him. sad to say i made a warrior afterwards. lol now i have one of every character except mesmer and paragon all lvl 20 except my new ele. that i made yesterday. of all the classes my necro is my favorite. Main kicks ass at everything and has every possible necro build you can imagine. NECRO FTW
