No Endgame Unique Pet for NF?

I'm wondering why the hyena is the last tameable pet in Elona. After getting to the end of cantha and seeing the ugly phoenix, but it being unique, I thought for sure elona would have one as well. Being ancient egyptian based, I figured we'd get our fiery phoenix of egyptian lore. Sadly this was not the case. In fact there was no end game pet like in faction, nor a "black" tamable pet like in both prophecies and factions. Now maybe the "black" pet hasnt been found yet, as I havent seen it on wiki or other sites, but it would be nice to have something that's unique for a pet.

Please do correct me if I'm wrong. I'd love to know there was a pet that requires some effort to get. I do have to say the wurm is awesome, but every one has that.

yeah I'd definitely wait until the game is finished being released (should be December sometime) before making a final judgement.

Elite Mission should have some pets plz

Elite mission has to have pets!!! i will die if there isnt!!!! I didnt like the pets i saw in nightfall , well except the hypo (that made to the game).

Yea but there's always spider runs that people pay for, no real effort at all. Hey, I'll admit that I had two of my previous guildies run my Ranger to get the elder black widow I still have today. (I don't use pets on any character other than my Ragner except for my Assassin who used to have a Black Moa that I got rid of.)

Pets in hard to reach places have played out. Time for a new gimmick not a rehash of the same thing. Spiders and Phonex each had their niche , now lets move on please.

An elite type pet is cool to have, I hope there is such one in Nightfall.

I'd like different types of pets, larger. Give me an elk any day.

The Phoenix isn't ugly. Some people are just too vain.

Anyway, they probably left it out because people complained about the Phoenix last time.

Ya I agree that it is proabably at the elite mission.

Actually probably Abbaddon's Gate's isn't the "last mission" and really this new elite mission probably is the final step to fixing all of Elona's problems.

I'm sure the Magnorites, Creatures of torment, etc aren't going to be too happy that abbaddon's dead.

Myself as a ranger I was disappointed in the selection of Nightfall pets. Want insanity how about a trainable monkey that would act as a hero after you leveled him and worked with him. You could use the Skin of the big apes that are there now in areas of the game.

Lets say we have a rampaging Ape eating villagers and we the heros are forced to go in and kill it. We then find out, opps, theres a youngin here, Feeling bad we take it in and it becomes a trainable pet. Now theres a new idea for getting a pet

speaking of the December update... is there a date set for it?

I still want that cutesy rabbit near Ashford in Pre. Or what about a squirrel? that would make "Go For The eyes" much more relevant.

Yea, I'd love to have a rabbit as a pet if nothing else than for the Monty Python resemblance, lol. Until then I'm still aiming for getting a Dire Hyena.
