The suggested bonus/reward intended for PVE only.

Increase replayability through 5 paths.

This just a rough ideal template.

Through 5 path give classes reward, maybe a healing boost for monk or somethings.(PVE only)
There is a main, straight path to choose if u wanna skip the 5 paths.

Pls do not flame & give ur constructive criticism, TY

Care to explain with an example of how this would work?

No to boosting abilities. Grind for power = bad.

Thanks for the input w/o flame

I will explain abit: The box represent a town, so it start at left side.
all classes will start at this point(suggest it best place after noob island or more further).

e.g1:monk & rit will recieve a quest of Dwnar's & go on his divine searching. Not a point A to B quest but a more indepth quest(mission) like a journey of Septer of Orr in phohecies. After 2 or more quest(an optional outpost in between if u need refresh or u could go straight from quest to quest.) Than they will come to an area where is a misison town for this 2 classes(monk & rit), than they do a mission specially design for relevent classes. Some even a solo mission like asendsion in phohecies or some special misison.(use ur imagination).

e.g2: Ranger & para will searching for blessing from God Melandru, blah blah(again use ur imagination lol)

e.g3: Balthazar will bless those melee class if they could recover the secret of an ancient sword.

So it will lead to a mission point(see 1st circle) where it has 2 paths to choose from. A mission will lead the an area to party with ranger & para, choose B will lead to party with necro & mes.(again this area's misison will design for relevent classes.)

If u use ele, u will nv come across these area so it increase the replayabilities. U will feel freash if u do ur another char.

Eventually all classes will meet at the end than proceed with normal mission like what we usually do.

-------------------------------
Epinephrine:No to boosting abilities. Grind for power = bad.

Now the grind is optional & it boosting is for pve only, so it wont hurt any1.
I always said this & will nv change: Give grind or/& extra things to those that want it. Those who dont want it will not be force to do it.(like armor infuse in phohecies e.g, these could set as a rough example of my 5 paths. But this time u hv the option to choose to do it or not & it wont be a much impact if u hv it or not, just a little boost.)

If we keep on saying: No grinding for power/boost/extra items(pve only if it has some impact different), than many suggestion to make pve more fun will hv to stop.
For those hv little time could just skip these & come back later(like on weekend when u hv more playing times)
----------------------------------------
Let see any1 could refine or add ideals to the 5 paths quest.

Returning after a 50 month break. Hi.

I don't like the idea of sorting people into categories based on what they're role will be. This is guild wars, where you make your choices on how you play, but you can change at any time with a quick template and maybe armour switch.

That's based on what I can deduce from the diagram.

I think this is just a proposal for PvE story progression; different classes go through different missions/quests. It sounds okay, but then wouldn't there be quests/missions where an entire team would be comprised of elementalists, for example? Maybe some quests specific to a class, but not missions. If missions were like in Prophecies, however, I could understand a bonus reward whose requirements change based on class.

I'm thinking it might be difficult to implement as you describe, but the missions would be pretty weird if they were restricted to a single class. Even if it had balanced classes in that every class had to do a mission, albeit at a different point in the story, there would then be a level disparity, unless this split occurred beyond the average lv20 area of the campaign.

Yeah. many alternate ways is OK, this is an RPG afterwards. But let the people choose their way regardless of class.

I definately agree with having different paths that branch out more. But I dont nessicarily agree with how you arranged it. Personally I wouldn't make the paths class specific. However, different mission paths based on choices (such as the ones they did with Master of Whispers/Margrid and Koss/Melonni)
are great additions which add replayability.

Having 3-5 starting paths based on your opinions would be awesome.

EXAMPLE: Lets say you start in a city ruled by a tyrant who wants to do good but is...clumsy with the way he handles things, then there is a rebel group, and then a government official who wants revenge. You do a few missions as an introduction, and then choose a group to join and do 5 or so missions that pertain to that aspect of the story. It adds replayibility.

More choices are always great.

And once you finish the game, you can remake the path you have chosen... and unlock a new one.... until you finish all of them and get the Protector Title, XD.
