Nightfall is not bad and with the new storyline that actually make sense. It make the game enjoyable for those who wanted to play it. Also with the introduction to heroes, peoples use different builds to help them complete missions and quests.

Personally NF is gets 0 points from me.
I first bought Factions, then I bought prophecies because the skills inf actions were awful, you couldnt make any build with the skills.
Then I started playing GWP, its a reall good game, nice lands, skills are just perfect (Especially for warrior and Monk).
But I do play more in Cantha than Tyria.

I'd put either NF or Proph on top. Hard. I guess I'll still take Proph though.

I'm glad I bought Nightfall. My Ranger completed the game, and I started a Paragon who finished also. But I agree with StamenFlicker above, leveling up more characters feels too much like hard work!
Not so with Factions, where all of my Prophecies characters finished and got the benefit of new skills. Grinding points does get old. And welcome as they are, fitting out heroes takes a lot of time and effort.

[QUOTE=Terra Xin]The scenery in nightfall felt repetative because of the landscaping, it was pretty much all the same (when I mean landscaping, I mean hills/rocks/cliffs. That's all it was, except with a variation of different color tones and a tree here and there). I remember when we first saw that map of Elona, the one where everyone was like "oh god, the areas don't match up, this map is a hoax".... it actually turned out to be the map :S.

lol...I believe I presented that when I found it....and yes people did say it was a hoax.
I liked Nightfall best, because of its great storyline.

There isn't a single ingame reason to prefer Prophecies above Nightfall. Well... accept the fact you can run it. But really, that's the only one. Only reason why you'd rate Prophecies above NF is because it's the original, the one that introduced you to the wonderfull game of GW.

1. Nightfall: It has the best story-line, the range of characters in the story is good and I like the way your character is a central figure in it and not just along for the ride.. Cut scenes aren't bad. Heros are a nice addition. The scenery is pretty neat - they've brought back some of the "Wow!" factor that Prophecies had, but it's not as diverse. I love the way they did the mission bonus system - they were all a bit different. There is more humor in Nightfall than the others. The Koss's Elixer quest is a hoot! It does fall down a bit in the replayability, and I'm not a big fan of grinding points to progress. Overall: 9
2. Prophecies - Good storyline, love the varied terrains. Pre-searing is gorgeous! Like being able to get skills from doing quests instead of having to buy them. Liked the bonus system as well. The only grind involved is levelling up and that's not that big of a deal for people not in a hurry. Overall:8.5
3. factions - Horrid storyline, hated the voice acting in cut scenes. The city was atrocious. Noob Isand was pretty, and the Jade Sea area was ok. AB's are fun. I hated the rush, rush feel of the game that stemmed from the timed mission bonus thing - then BAM! Road Block! Go get 10,000 faction points before you can continue! I was fed up with factions about 2/3s of the way through it. The only reason I'll spend time there is if a guildie needs help or the occasional AB. Overall: 4.5

My fav has been and always will be Prophecies unless ANet does something totally amazing, since Proph has the best replay value, however some things arent fun but those are the things that can be ran easily (forest missions) and its storyline lacked, at least at the end however until the last mission in the shiperpeaks it was pretty good
Factions as far as PvE goes is the lamest thing with too fast leveling which can sometimes be nice but since I started playing this game along time before factions came out I like kind of a slow feel to it even when I've played through it several times, however I did/do like FA and AB
Nightfall was cool the first and somewhat second time but I can't stand the grind, not just with the Sunspear points but with all the quests and missions linking together, however the fact that you're the center of the story was a nice add and that people mouths move during cutscenes. Heroes are awesome and all that extra stuff they added, although I can't stand how they love taking AoE, its like poison that tastes good and finally the best thing is that you get to ride in the Junundu
Overall, Prophecies>Nightfall>Factions
