So, I just made a nice mistake. I kill Abbadon, and get my book of secrets. I walk to the Ritualist weapons man, and look through the staffs, picking one out I could give to my girlfriend. So, I see Communing and think "Thats what she would want!" and take it. Next I find out, she is actually Channeling, I was gutted
Any way, what has been your 'Silly Mistakes' of Guild Wars?

It's alright, give her the staff anyways. She can save her Communing build templates and try Channeling some time.

Lagged at the merchant and accidently sold a sup absorption for 25 gold when they were worth 100k.

Earlier today I put a req9 Zodiac bow into the trash can on inventory screen. I was lagging, and trying to delete koss' stupid 2-3 damage machete I had just replaced.
Err7'd while inventory was open, and when I logged back in my bow was gone. There smiling at me in the inventory slot one over was a shiny 2-3 damage machete.
Expensive error, glad I did it to myself...lol

Not really a mistake but something that kinda goes against my name lol. When I first started playing guild wars I always used a sword and always had. I went through my first chapter (factions first) and after I beat that I got shiros sword =/ bad mistake on my part. Anywho eventually when I got to buying prophecies I eventually bought a Victos battle axe and used it ever since. Didnt really think much of it until one day someone said to me LOL! and i was like what? and he says "Your name is Techno Sword!" and im like yeah so? and he replies "Your wielding an axe!" dun dun dun! Techno sword with an <b>axe</b> lol doesnt really matter though because ive had this char for a while and im not deleteing it just to change a name to Techno Axe!

When you no longer could have only one piece of Knight's Armor to have the absorbtion bonus for all, I went and bought new boots that matched the rest of my armor. I proceded to trash the old boots before realizing they were infused. I had to do infusion again for the new boots.

About 2 months after i got the game, i had amassed enough money to buy 15k armor from grotto for every element on my ele Jinn Master. I paid for infusion runs for 3 of the armors and then did the mish/infusion for the final armor, and at THK, i accidentally sold them ALL to the merchant except for the fire armor i was wearing...which i also eventually sold on accident. I no longer keep armor extras in my inventory....

Well, when I first started I checked the character icon for the merchant to sell some of the junk weapons I was carrying and I sold my armor right off my body. Just a little to fast on the clicky.

Soon after factions came out I sold two perfect phoenix blades... a month or so later I see people buying them for like 100k+ I was a little sad .

Though not quite on the same par, I've sold things to merchants about 30 seconds before people used the trade channel saying they needed something(needless to say I'd been trying to sell them for at least 10 minutes)

well, I've merchanted black dye before in presearing, I've accadently crafted 2 pieces of 15k druids leggings on my ranger -.-; and I've sold a piece of my eles 15k aero armor once. but theres nothing major that I've ever really done.
There was this one guy in ToA who Merchanted his 105 Ectoplasms right before he was about to go FoW and craft his monk armor i think, that was a hoot, he sat there crying about it for like 6 hours, lol.

I sold an Elemental sword to the merchant - had no idea how sought-after they are! (And I still don't get why, things are ugly as sin)
I also used "rebirth" in the middle of a battle on the Dunes of Despair mission - as a Monk! (that was a Looooong time ago!)

I standard salvaged many purple and blue runes, or sold valuable things to the merchant b/c of lag.
To stop the latter, I just only activate the backpack and move everything I don't want to sell to another bag or storage so I can't see it or therefore sell it.

My biggest mistake was going through all the trouble of getting a nice green Illusion+1 set for my mesmer's Signet of Illusions builds. Only to later test it and learn the +1 mechanic doesn't trigger on the builds.

got confused between two earth staffs: canthan skin and obsidian skin... sold the obsidian one which req 9 to the merchant then tried to sell the canthan skin for about 10 minutes before finding out it wasn't a obsidian skinned one.

1.He didn't show.
2.I forgot to bring a sig cap.
3.I forgot to change to ele secondary.

lol Some of you guys have it bad. But me the worst thing I did, was sometime after factions release. I was moving or doing something with a PvP storage character and I somehow accidentally withdrew 100k instead of putting money in it..and deleted that PvP character. I was wondering where my 100k went like 5 minutes later and figured I must of deleted it.
I just shrugged. Not much I could do about it, no point in whining.
