The New Weapons of Guild Wars

i love the longsword and long-swords because they match in propotion with something in real life. I think Prophecies had some of the best skins because they are mideval and people know what some skins look like. Asian Weps ?? has anyone ever seen an asian sword other than a katana and some others.
What kind of axe is the desolatino axe. Some of the skins are worthless and some are awsome but it ends up that its all peoples opinions and some people might like the fruity skins that anet comes up with.

My two favourite were the Jitte and Zodiac swords.
But I sold them cuz I got bored with the character and needed money for my other character.
Everyone has their own tastes.

Greatest sword in the game. Hell, not just sword. Greatest weapon in the game.

Be glad you at least have options. Most casters are left with generic skins :P

I personally love the Adamantine Falchion and the fanged sword.

as for holes, blades tend to have holes to lighten the weight of it and ajust the balance.

there is lots of skins i like in all the campaigns. but imo some skins need some fixing, the vertebreaker/colosal simitar have some kind of low resolution skin.

or its supposed to have a grainy texture?

It's the same with movies the original is always better.

I think because tyria has the fds and ids they just owned all other campaigns

Elonian weapons are african/tribal based
Cathan weapons are asian based
Tyrian weapons were called europen based to fill in the gap.

thats reason i didnt buy NF, all the weapons and armour dont look very good. In factions it had crappy scenery but good looking weapons. In nightfall they have Great looking scenery but crappy looking weapons.

Chapter 4 will either have everything looking good or everything looking bad

hammer, murrsatt is the only one.....

I'm still waiting for more traditional-based weapons/gear.. You'd figure that regular old heroes would wear normal-looking armor instead of a fancy-smancy-power-rangerish type.

Rapiers would own face.. that along with a robin hood-like getup and two handed swords

That's what makes Fellblades so fun: they look dangerous. They aren't polished weapons of a gentleman warrior. They look big and mean and scary. One of my favorite skins for a sword, along with crenellated blades. Some people will want slim blades and a character that looks like he'd be at home in "Pirates of the Carribbean" Some people want the barbarian warrior look, and some (like myself) have characters with the plate armor and a medium-sized weapon. Nobody's really WRONG on it, just how you want your own character to look.

opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one.

It depends on your taste. If you are into European themed stuff, then Prophecies; Asian themed stuff Factions; Middle Eastern/African themed stuff then Nightfall.

It is a matter of taste and for me I preferred factions skins,

swords - jade, oni, golden pheonix
axes - gothic, gothic dual, gemstone
hammers - tetsubo, Icebreaker (ok its in tyria, but was realased during factions)
bows - platinum
