Anet, Please please fix this rubber banding problem!
Franco Power
This happens a hell lot in relic runs and unless you type /stuck, you will think you are running the relic when you actually not, just body blocking in a sandstorm and a ward vs foes and geting galed >.>.
Yeah I'd love Anet to fix this please, It's kinda annoying and many times I have to ask people on vent if Im stuck or going because I dont know.

I have the problem too but I don't really mind, I just live with it...
I actually find some occasions funny, I'm running myself to somewhere and use WASD to move in and out packs of mobs then when I'm in the clear suddenly..."10,40,38,60" appears above me and all I think is ....damn lol, then poof 5 ettins around me eating me :P
But I don't seem to get it as much now o.o
EDIT: Shouldn't of said that, just happened now xD

You can replicate this problem running as fast as possible the Ruins of Surmia (Mission)
Running empty narrow paths that are quickly full of monsters when you agro, could cause this problem. In Ruins of Surmia (Mission) you can easily replicate it, you see yourself running and mysteriously no more monsters spawn, and you are taking damage from monsters very long back in the road, because you are at the same time bodyblocked AND not bodyblocked running far of the monsters.
It's hard to explain, you are bodyblocked AFTER you pass the monsters and you are running away, like if you have a "ghost" one second (or less) behind you (ping, lag), and that "ghost" is bodyblocked, not the character you are controlling.

this seems to be the worst on the tyrian servers. 3 times today i died after having run past a group of trolls, leaving them far behind behind but still getting hit. 2 times i didnt even port back. this is ridiculous.

This problem I have had since the early days in GW, drok running getting stuck in a bunch of trolls, UW runs and relic runs in tombs.
I'd miss it if they fixed it.... :P
Would be nice if they could fix it, hardly worth raging the game over though.

One way to fix it is adding something that detect you are taking damage out of the right range, and automatically return you to the real place you are; This feature must be added to the client, because I think the server don't even see your fake position, only the real one.

I've noticed that when you do a GvG on the Warriors Isle and you're the defending team u rubberband as well when u run down the stairs.
Its only at the start of the match so its no big problem. I never had that before, thats why i find it odd that it happens now.

oh yeah. ick. Between GWguru taking 5 minutes to load, and GW servers getting me /stuck everywhere, its becoming a bad experience. I hope they take this seriously.

I got this once or twice per run during the Cantha Triple Green weekend event. I was farming Ghials staff and running from Senji's. It would happen at least once and usually 3-4 times per run. Quite annoying.
I had taken some time off from Guild Wars before that specific event weekend. I hadn't played since before NF was released. Upon logging back in for the first time I immidiately noticed more lag than what I remembered. Same computer, same ISP. The game keeps getting bigger and more laggy.
No I'm not talking about downloading files/maps either. I'm talking about the time it takes to map out of a city into an explorable or map between cities. Perhaps the system requirements are increasing despite not having even installed/purchased the new chapters?
Oh well I guess it gives me a reason to upgrade.

I first experienced rubber banding when they first introduced reconnects.
Remove reconnects plx.

i hate rubberbanding. its because of the server technology, as mentioned earlier, but i only rubberband when i do runs. or i run straight into a mob while expecing to get through. and in your screenshot, the connection button isnt green, its green with the lightning bolt thingy: check guildwiki: means no connection
if you get stuck like that, cast an aoe spell or /dance
It pings your location to the server
