With all due respect, I will enjoy getting this XP (if I can)! Ok, I'm far far away from being XPrienced, I'm newb, I'm... but still I own the game like everyone else.
It's the old "teacher" problem: every year the student sees the teacher's course as something new and cool, but the teacher on the other hand has seen the same (sort of) course year and year again; while the student can be excited about the course, the teacher can be bored by the exact same thing! (and then they can start disagreeing on the interest of the course...)
Question of perspective I guess. But bear in mind that the game has lots of players, with more or less advanced involvement into the game. And there are people that are now like you were months/years ago, they're just starting, or just captured their first elite skill last week, or are about to discover UW or FoX (not me yet
).
While I appreciate the tons of XP I get by reading posts from XPrienced people on this forum, and while I understand the frustration of the "teacher" (I've been one) from the XPrienced GWers, I still think that one should not criticise Anet's decision according to one's point of view only. I think it' perfectly normal that those events happen regularly, until the day that there are no more newcomers to GW (which I hope won't happen soon
).
My 2 cents.
