I had 6 disconnects in a row when I tryed to go out of the Chantry Of Secrets portal. So fustrating.

Same error here, starting today around 3:00pm est.
Only seems to happen on the Sunspear Sanctuary->Marga Coast portal for me. Ticks me off more than any bug I've encountered since the WPE.

I got 2 characters for NF and the portal 007 error happens either one of the EVERYDAY, when exiting various portals.
I noticed that this started to happen when they fix the bug where your toon walked a few steps beyond the portal. After they 'fixed' the bug my toon would for a moment sent back to a few steps before the portal and then 1~2 seconds later the loading starts
Right before the 007 error occurs the toons are usually 1~2 steps beyond the portal and the game freezes a bit and then gone back to the log in screen

Yep happened to me today, i tried again and again to get into the nightfallen jahai zone and err 7 every time so i gave up. A couple of days ago it happened as i walked out of droks but it worked when i logged back in whereas today it never worked.

This err7 nonsense has made this game now totally unplayable for us 8 close guildies here - the frustration is just not worth it. And this has been going on for days now.
Can't get through the portal in Kaineng to see the Emperors Hand, can't use portals into or out of Cavalon, multiple eer7's while helping with Arbourstone Mission, can't map travel AT ALL in tyria... and the lag is beyond a joke.
Won't send any further support tickets - just got told to post on a fansite forum.

The "leave from International Disctrict" trick worked for me, and allowed me to proceed, but that's only a temporary way around the problem. I'd like to see it fixed for the sake of all in the game.

So this was the original thread regarding the err7 portals... I posted on the other one. I've been experiencing the same thing with several locations in Kourna and Vabbi. It was really annoying in that I had to jump around different locations just to see which one allowed me access to an area.

No matter many people experience disconnects with an error 007, it is not a universal problem that is universally fixable. Each is a case by case basis that we have to troubleshoot individually as it can be caused by dropped packets, an unstable NIC driver, firewalls, routers, poor routing, wireless interference and many other problems.
If you were just notifying us that you experienced an 007 error then we'll be happy to log it and close this ticket. If you wish to troubleshoot the problem if it continues to happen, please let us know.

lol thats entirely bull shit imo, all this has nvr happened to me b4 and after winterfest it started happening to numerous people, so how the fk its our fault>.

Yes, since the last update...end of Winterfest...Error 7's galore (and some 58's as well but not as often as the 7's)

Allot my my Guild Members are having this issue to. I though I was lucky cause it has not happened to me yet but today it happened to me twice trying to exit the portal from Sunspear Sactuary to Magna Coast. I just went to Yohlan haven and entered Magna Coast from that porthole and it worked fine. I am almost 100% positive this error has NOTHING to do with my setup and has EVERYTHING to do with ANET server or a Bug in the current update. Most Tech support for all games, not just ANET, Are quick to blame the end user for an issue dealing with connection problems which is what Error 007 is. But due to the fact that the Error 7's are widespread and are just happen when people leave towns at portholes it has something to do with the Game itself and nothing to do with the End Users Setup. I hope ANET gets this fixed soon.

And, international districts (never favor....or more than a few people) are not the reason I love GW so much.
I wish they would have said something like "D'oh! Seems to be a big issue!" We will look into it, thanks for your patience!"

Sent a ticket with this thread in it - they will be working on it now and *should* (fingers crossed) release it soon in an update.

I had posted in a different thread, but as this seems to be the main thread on the subject I will post an update here..
Last night, around 4-5pm EST, these portals were producing err007's for me:
- Shing Jea Monestary to the first wilderness area (forget the name)
- Seitung Harbor to Jaya Bluffs
I was able to work around the Monestary one by going from a different outpost, but I finally gave up on the Seitung portal. After logging out for a few hours, the Seitung portal finally worked for me after an additional 2 or 3 tries. Haven't noticed it anywhere else so far.

My theory for a correction, I may be wrong I don't know, but I think it has somthing to do w/ decompressing, and if I run through the portal fast I suddenly hit center of that town, and get 7'd. So I try to walk up to the portal, and slowly up arrow through the portal. I may be nuts, but it seems to work when I'm having the problem, give it a try if you want.

have had this happen numerous times , too many to count - err 7s up the ying yang and today has pushed me a bit. Had 12 in a row trying to get from Yohlon Passage to Pogain Passage(sp) - was not impressed.
And then I got a new one - code 019, could not find mission you requested please try again in a few minutes.
I have , today, checked everything to do with my connection as well as contacted my ISP and had them check things on their end. Guess what , everything is good - so it is not my end of things.
Besides, far to many of the same complaint to say it is the users problem.

I don't think it has anything to do witht the towns you leave from as they seem to be totally random.
Happened to me at House Zu, Yohlon, Kodlonu, Pogahn, and other areas I can't remember.
So far the fixes for us have been for a non-party leader to run out the warp, or to kick heroes.
I also tried exiting the warp by myself then returning and grabbing heroes...this seems to work too.

Seems to have something to do with heroes. A couple of times, when I keep getting err7s from a portal, I just switched heroes and I can then get through.

And the problem is random and can't be replicated on demand...but, it does happen very frequently.
Fairly certain the Error 7's and 58's of late have been introduced by a recent Game Update.

i've been having pretty much the same problem for about the past three days when ever i try zoning from the following places, Kaineng Center, Shing Jea Monastery & Sunspear Sanctuary. I don't know if I will find any other problems anywhere because I can't get any further in the game. Although it will never let me through them so I can't get any further in any of my quests.... plus it doesn't even work when someone else tries to zone me. I contacted support also but they keep wanting to know my internet connection so I am guessing they are going to treat it like it's my internet connections fault yet it works fine when I zone through other areas and it was working at 100% about 3 days ago.....

I've been getting these problems too. I haven't read through this whole topic, but I've found something that seems to work some of the time.
If you're going outside with heroes/henchies, first of all, when you get into the town, do not target ANYONE. Other players, NPCs, the signs, nothing. Add your party members with the party search (P key) and try to leave town. I find that this USUALLY works for me. It's not guaranteed, but when I do it, I make it out more times than I don't. So try that out for help. It worked for me, and when a guildie was having the same problem, I told him the above solution, it worked for him as well.

Sticking out your tongue while staring at the computer screen as you cover your left eye with your right hand will (sometimes) allow you to portal successfully.
Additionally, holding a lit candle over the body of a sacrificed Moa bird has also had results, but Moa's are often hard to find.

I wasn't joking. Whenever I get the error, while my character is moving through the portal, I look at the top of the screen and the name of the last person I targeted will pop up suddenly. I move through and it lags a second and I get the Error 7. You can make fun of me if you want, but not having anything targeted has helped me make it through the portals.

Got the glorious Error 7 whilst doing AB last night, and the odd thing was, it also happened to my guild leader; and we were in the International District. It was a map change from Grenz to Saltspray when we both got errored. It happened to me earlier that night from the map change between the Ancestral Lands to Grenz.
So I don't think ti's just affecting PVE, but also PVP, and in the case of PVP it's affecting the International districts as well. However, I've never gotten the err7 from PVE, as odd as that is.
So while A-Net may wish to say that it isn't widespread, uh, it is. And it's becoming very frustrating for many people I know. While I've been lucky and have only dealt with it just a wee bit, some people were absolutely livid.
Also noticed the other night while in Kanieng, that someone kept getting err7ed while trying to get into the Pavillion.

One time as I step through the protal I got teleported back a few steps back: and I saw whole hero+hech team appears in town O_O
but then the loading begins and ran smoothly.
