Err7 Portals

oh good! My partner fixed it. He dropped Zenmai from my party while I was in his team.

I'm having the Sunspear Sanctuary to Marga Coast problem now too.

I have logged the problem with support.

Today: Playing from 11:00 a.m. EST to 3:00 EST.

Seventeen disconnects due to error 7.

It only seems to happen to me if I have henchmen in my team. Its very annoying since im building a new monk.

I fixed the NetErr=7 using these steps -- I'm guessing that some of them can be skipped, but who knows...

1) Zone from Grand Court into Mirror of Lyss with no heroes/henchies
2) Return to Grand Court, add Heroes/Henchies, then zone into Mirror of Lyss again
3) Go to Dzagonur Bastion, then zoned into Mirror of Lyss with a heroes/henchies

I'm guessing that a corrupted file might have gotten overwritten with all of the above zoning, but who knows. Either way, it's working for me now.

I tried re downloading my gw dat file but its still not working

Argh... I dced about 7 times already going through a portal and another 3 times going through the same portal so I had to run around in circles from a different town to get where I wanted to go.

Euro server, e7 zoning out from Kodash to Mirror. Thrice. Restarted GW in between, did nothing.

Argh. Need to work on survivor ranger. :/

I've also had the problem as noted above. This is on a new factions character and zoning from monastery to sunqua vale. I have reinstalled guildwars, same problem. I have checked all my connection settings, nothing is wrong there. What seems to have solved my problem, was loading into international districts to continue playing. This is flawless and doesn't give issues. Another thing that seems to solve it is zoning into the location from another area and running to the town that has the issue. When running back out of the original problem town, it generates no errors and completes the connection when zoning. Seems as a bug or corrupt files somewhere. Who knows, till then, international districts here we come! (works 100% of the time).

Used to happen a few months back with the snake dance>grenths footprint portal, made droks running a living hell as you had to skip that zone or you or one or two people in your party would drop. This problem isn't knew, but I guess it's worsening.

Yeah...been getting Error 7's last couple of days on zoning. Also appears game loads slower even though my DAT is completely updated. It does appears to be related to having Henchies in the party...at least for me.

May as welll add myself and my partner to this list - happening all over for us. Lion's Arch seems to be a particular problem today. Also Camp Rankor, Kodonur Crossroads (all exits). Immediate Err7.

We're on the American servers. Being with or without henchies/heroes seems to make no difference.

Most annoying.

I'd give it another 24 hours before we have some sort of answer about it - it's still Sunday in the US.

Log it with support in the meantime. If they see enough of the tickets coming through, they'll get on to the problem quick smart.

Had the err 7 problem a few times yesterday with Kodonur Crossroads and Yohlon Haven exits, but none today from Gate of Secrets. It seems to be very slow connecting, however, once I log in from the main page and when I select a character. This usually doesn't happen to me much, but it's happened almost every time I log in today and yesterday.

ive been getting this for about 3 days now..roughly 5 times aday..really annoyig.

Seems to be only certain portals for me. Going to the marga coast from sunspear sanctuary DCs me every time, but from yohlon and nundu is fine. So been going from there, a bit more of a walk for some quests but at least I can get in. Had DCs going to vehtendi from kodash too. Weird DCs cause its not bad areas, since you can get into them from other portals. Or at least that's what I've got anyway.

Having the same problem. It started with my Factions-made Ranger tying to portal to Raisu Pavillion for the "Taking Back The Palace" quest. He STILL hasn't been able to portal. Prophesies Necro then started having trouble in Elona.....if I could not zone into an area (Err007) and I was able to access that area another way, I would....THEN I was able to enter the portal without getting kicked.

I reported the error .....did the Guild Wars diagnosis dealie....even entered some more information when asked. Hopefully this will be fixed soon before all my toons are locked down in one map or another.

Unprofessional guess........ some code got royally screwed up after the Winterfest code was removed.....'cause right after Winterfest was when I started having problems. grrrrrrrrr
