PvP? Don't play much, but like using my Ranger in AB. Never tried monking.

1- Ele , my ele is my first and main character, i just choosed that class when i started playing because is the mage class and looked cool lol, but i finally loved to play it.
2- Rit.
I played some other clases but i didn't enjoy most of them, i'm starting to play as a monk to see if i enjoy playing it.
All this is just in PVE, i don't like PVP.

Monk. I really enjoy support and really enjoy keeping everyone standing. Sometimes its a pretty thankless role, but its always where I wish to be. I play all the other classes here and there, but no longer now anywhere near as much as I am on my monk. Its been that way for well over a year.

I love healing. My first character was a monk, but I changed to rit when it came out. I like the idea of being able to heal without almost COMPLETELY sacrificing the ability to go offense. And soul reaping is just so broken in PvE.
In PvP:

Nowadays you usually only do RA to increase my glad rank. Blood necro builds work fairy well to accomplish it. Mesmer because they awesomely screw up everyone. Monk if I think "screw this, I feel like actually winning some matches".

My fav is necro; I really like their versatility. Second would probably be derv, or monk even though I'm used to be on the offensive; I hate playing support most of the time, I don't feel IN the action, which is why I play games. So despite that, I like monking as well.

I just can't play a dervish in PvP, they..get owned by Enchantment Stripping and the full potential of 3 opponents at a time isn't used in PvP (why does nobody ever stand in one place..doh)
