I have been watching an e-bay auction for a "new and unopened" copy of Prophecy Collector's Edition, and it sold yesterday for the utterly astonishing amount of £185 - around $360!
This is by far the highest amount that I have seen one sell for, and is an extreme amount to pay simply to get Divine Aura!
I guess my dreams of ever owning a copy of CE have really disappeared this time. I wish I had bought it when I first started playing just after the game first came out.
Prophecy CE sells for £185 on ebay!

Dribller they are talking about the Collector Edition Phrophecies.
You probably bought the Game of The Year version of phrophecies.
GWP CE aren't in stores anymore, or it would be in some store in a dessert where they never heard of GW.
silara, doubt it, since peopel know that there are people out there that will pay some nice cash for it.

Actually, they had one in my local HMV store in the UK (Norfolk area) a couple of months ago. I thought about paying the £45 just for the divine aura, but decided it wasn't worth it. It was in there for a while to, sat on the shelves for a good month or so, untill someone finally bought it.
Much as some here my find it hard to believe, not everyone in the world creams themselves over some glowing hands >_>

There was one that went for about 800 dollars recently, as I recall. There's a Candadian eBayer who's been raking it in selling UK versions and getting around £140 - £200 as well. Personally I wouldn't pay more than 10 pounds over retail price, but I don't really care about the DA anyway.
Lol.. as for being in a desert and not hearing about Guild Wars... I live in a decent sized town in the UK and none of the shops here even stocked the CE this time around. Probably got stuck with too many Factions CEs last time

To get the glowing hands you will have to get the Profecies CE, it is called divine aura. As far as going to E-Bay and getting it I would first ask the seller if it is a new un-opened box. That is the only to be sure to get a good Key-Code. If you do a Yahoo or Google search you might find it at several online stores although at rather high prices now as it is becoming very rare. Just be careful on where you get it from, and always ask questions befoire sending hard earned cash for it. Also E-Bay and Pay-Pal have buyer protection plans that could make it easier to purchase knowing that they would refund your money if you take pictures of the package that the profecies box comes in then the profecies box in that package and if it is sealed or not. Allways CYA.
