Gaile Speaks on chapter 2!

i don't think it's overpowered, in fact it's not difficult to beat, it's just annoying that everyone's doing it and it doesn't really take a great deal of skill or organisation.

Maybe the frog just doesnt like the pets being used as cannon fodder. Animals have to stick together!

Well, I had an epiphany the other night. If they did this it would screw with maybe say pve r/w beastmasters--maybe. So, one way they could subtly nerf it, while retaining functionality for legitimate pet users, would be to have iway only count your own pet, and not those of teammates. I believe this would go a loong way toward balancing iway.

Yes it's beatable, but it's overpowered and easy. I was goofing off in a rank 1.5 (maybe) iway group the other night and ran into a guildy who's always in r9+ groups (normally balanced) and we handled them. The players my group weren't all that great, we shouldn't have won, period.

I can't see them changing it, it's not like it's unbeatable and the longer the builds around the more people that will learn to beat it making it less and less used.

It's peoples tactics that need to change not the game.

I agree that its easy to beat but its annoying. Every time I go in its "How are we handling IWAY?" And not in the respectful tone that used to be used for "How do we handle ranger spike?" or "What do you want to do if we run into an FoC Build?" Its more along the lines of "What do you want to do about the screaming, suicidal 5 year olds waving the machetes around?" Its just annoying. It wouldn't be so bad if there were only a few "elite" groups running it that knew what they were doing. But every other freaking n00b pug group is IWAY. And most of them act about 12. My hats off to WN and MATH and those folks who do it and do it well but my Guild hasn't been in the Hall in like 2 months just because we got sick of the stupid IWAY teams. Still, if they throw in a nerf I hope it doesn't affect Rangers in any way. That would REALLY tick me off. My 2 cents.

we had the chance to meet The Last Pride [EvIL] (http://ladder.guildwars.com/ladder.dll?tag=EvIL) and Temporal Threshold [TT] (http://ladder.guildwars.com/ladder.dll?tag=TT) in GvG. if IWAY is overpowered, we should've beat those two. but no. they beat us.

people should play like EvIL and TT and not whine and cry for a nerf. improving one's game is the solution.

if you want an overpowered skill, just look for "Dual Shot" in Ranger's skill list.

That's going to be a big disappointment. I know of a few people including myself who were looking forward to playing elven or dwarven characters.

I've been quite pleased with Anet thus far (and the Auction House is great news), but this one is a bit of a let-down.

Heh, heh... Good point. A non-elite ranged Hundred Blades that can have preperations (minus AoE)? W00t!

For everyone crying for nerfs all the time


Your builds will get nerfed eventually because you nerf everyone else build so you can beat them and thin those nerfed builds will cry for a nerf on your build. Therefore, this is a never-ending cycle that you are playing with. Instead of coming up a way to beat those builds since every build, have their weakness and strengths it is much easier to cry for the nerf bat to do the work for you.

The frog says he's morally opposed to IWAY. Which probably means he doesn't like the idea of unskilled players gaining their rank through IWAY...

I am opposed to IWAY and always will be. i tried playing as an IWAY warrior just to see what the big deal was and i did ok but then some person told me i wasnt even an IWAY warrior. I think it was because my team just pwnzrd him in HoH. But i dont know. And i really want to know what will be special in the collectors of Chap. 2.

Could someone tell me about what time and district that the Frog and Gaile talk? I live in the Eastern U.S., and the time I heard it was around 1:00 PM on Saturday, but I don't think that's right now, so someone let me know please

I think we need some new classes other than dwarf elf and orc. For all that is good every single rpg has those in them. I like the fact tat there were Charr and toher crap insted of those. Now I know there are dwarfs in the game, but atleast there are no freaking elves!!!

There's a chat log somewhere that indicates that there will never be elves in Tyria. Sorry :|

If one of the new classes is an assasin and the other a druid I will laugh my ass off. Anybody else thinking Diablo 2?
