I have to be honest, I have done a few IWAY (and I have won HoH with it too so dont say its impossible Well the other day we played a team who used wards and soothing images. We dealt almost no damage, and on top of that they used Spiteful and Empathy. Pretty easy to counter I have to say. We were owned in 5 minutes And IMO, races should have different stats. Not many, but small differences. For example, humans are all around normal. But maybe Dwarves could add 5% more damage to their physical damage attacks and maybe even have 5 more armor. Of course, to balance they move 5-10% slower. Just an idea. |
Shouldn't all these ideas go to the suggestion thread?

What about having the leader in gvg have a horse with a flag in his hand , and when people of the guild stay next to him in guild battles .. the moral is boosted by 5%. And of course it the guilds choice of they will have a leader on horse or not .. since he cant attack and just give enchantments. |

I think that iway should be nerfed just because it's so damn boring to play against it. Many players have even quitted the game because of iway ffs. And these aren't the players that lose to iway..These are the players who are bored to it.
I'm thinking of quitting tombs because of iway too...Too bad that some guilds (MATH...) even spoil the fun in gvg with iway.. gg.

Yes, IWAY is easy to beat. Its just the constant stream of idiot pug IWAY teams that is annoying. I have never been a big fan of nerfing (except in extreme cases like spirit spam, and I play a Ranger most of the time!) so I will not throw in on encouraging a nerf. But it would be nice to play against more balanced teams in Halls. Now lets get back to important stuff. About that bunny......

What playable races are there in Guild Wars? In the first chapter you play characters from the human race. In subsequent chapters of Guild Wars, you may be able to play members of other races. |
Just a rumor that I heard however they are considering dropping the maximum number of the same profession to three per team, Soo ranger spike will have to be done with three rangers... not hard, however dropping hero's and warriors will be a very timed spike... IWAY, will probably be ran three warriors, three rangers, two necro's... Several things can change, and IWAY is a very simple build that can be modified to be much more powerful, however the majority of iway players just want a quick fame...
What people dont understand is in, nerffing IWAY builds is nerffing the pve status of the game, which isnt fair to those who dont find pvp interesting. How often do you see in pve, "Hey, lets run IWAY". Never have I seen that on a serious note... Understand before you put your thoughts into builds, that there is more than just pvp.
I do not however agree with IWAY, I feel its a bug in the system that needs fixed. Such as teams must have a more complex build, such as each team must require x amount of professions... Whereas rainbow spikes would be more popular. Requiring more skill of course, making the hall of hero's a much more skill based aspect in the game.
Whatever path they take in "nerffing" IWAY, I feel it wont be one that makes the players in the game happy, because those getting beat by IWAY now, will probably still be getting beat by IWAY then, which shows their issues in; lack of skill, ignorance, and self control.

So, grain of salt, anyone?
As to elves, or pixies, or druids, or any other race of character type -- we're always open to suggestions and almost never say never. ![]() |

Make IWAY no longer trigger off pets, lengthen the recharge on orders(will help with R/spike too), and IWAY is no longer a problem. Throw in an increased recharge on Sig of Weariness, E/Surge and Migrane, and do something(no idea what) with EoE and Dual Shot, and all the biggest problems at the moment are fixed.
Why not just remove all skills, weapons, attributes, runes and armour and give everyone a stick that does 1-1.
Most of these skills and spells arn't really broken or have problems it's just people that don't prepare or play tactically against them lose and want them changed.
if a team gets beaten 10 times by IWAY the problem isn't with the IWAY team.
