Why am i killing myself trying to get smokey remains from the 6 nightmare that spawn in Ring of Fire and ebon spider webs from lava spitters? x_x

How can those players who only have chapter 2 possibly farm for items that only exist in chapter 1 and players who own chapter 1 are having difficulty collecting already?!

What happens if the chefs fail?

How would a player who only owns Guild Wars Factions be able to get the the items that only comes from the Shiverpeaks, Ring of Fire or Maguuma Jungle?

This finale is in CANTHA, but the recipes call for some really hard to get stuff in TYRIA. Why is that?

Seriously.If these items are required for the hat,Eff that,I especially find it incredibly Rawful that one of the items required for a dish is an Icy Lodestone,which is only dropped in Pre-searing.

actually they changed Siege Ice Golems in the shiverpeaks to drop Icy Lodestones instead of Stone SUmmit Badges.

Always the hat from events we get very easy so i think that this Chefs will give to you something special

Surprise surprise,Anet doesn't even list that change on their Game Updates page.

I doubt the hat has any requirement other than attending on the hat day, just like the other hats. Events would not be nearly so popular if Anet started setting the bar to get hats even a little bit high, so they probably won't do that.

Therefore I'm guessing that all those who are farming chef menu items are going to find their time was not well spent due to the insignificant rewards they end up getting for all that time. If one really wants to make meals it would be faster to just farm Ectos then sell them, then buy the ingredients from other players instead of farming them for one's self.

I agree about how VAGUE this is, if there is a link to a non-expendable item from the event through this, Anet should really let us know, this way we aren't running around looking for these useless items for something that can be just used up for a spark effect or two...
