Second just because a lot of people do something doesnt make it okay.
Third, spamming is disruptive and Gaile was trying to talk to the community. The spammers are keeping others from interacting with Gaile and vice versa. Gaile always asks people to stop spamming and this time was no different. I was there and I saw it. People continued to spam so they got banned so the rest of us can listen in on the conversations. Like I said before, if you're willfully stupid to ignore the warnings then yes you should get banned.
Oh and if you don't like how the rules are enforced, you're free not to log into the game.
