Dragon's Lair is excessively long and not very challenging. It's one of the many missions I do AFK style - let the henchmens do it.
But yeah, the absolute worst ones are the ones set up like Thunderhead. No challenge at all for forever, and then face the only chance of wiping at the very, very end.

Matter of fact all of my most hated missions are in Nightfall. Not because they are hard, but damn annoying.
Blessed Winds
Eternal Grove and Dzoganur Bastion
It's a pain especially when you're henching...you have to order everyone to different places.

pingu666
chunderhead keep
nahpooy quarter
arbourstone, leeroy damnika specialy at the end, i now take the matyrdor route of trying to stand between her, and and the bad guys at the end.
jennur horde, ow.
dashed vegitable, icey traps pwned goran just before the end. DOH
dzagon bastion, is a cool concept, easy to not get masters there. made a special heal party spam build on my monk for that. LOD, glyph of lesser and healparty + normal heals
abbadons gate, clawfest since a update. first cycle go right, then left, then middle, hit abbadon in the face abit till he wakes up, then rather than run the big loop, just go halfway up the center, and do the triangle thing. drasticaly reducing the claws
bits between the realm of torment missions, 40% extra skillcost = mass deaths
glitchy/luck mission/bonus, just grrrrr

This is not a difficult mission. The fighting is pretty easy all the way thru. However I've just spent an entire weekend pugging this mission with IDIOTS. All I need is the bonus here and no matter how many times you repeat "do not kill the centaurs", "do not kill the centaurs", "do not kill the centaurs" "Do NOT kill the centaurs!", some jerk will inevitably kill the centaurs. This is one mission that you are way better off just henching. |

Go with guildies or henchies only for this mission. PUGing is just asking for trouble.

As far as worst mission, I have to agree with Celestial Beaver on Jennur's Horde. The OP cites Aurora Glade, but Jennur's Horde is Aurora Glade on steroids. They are remarkably similar when you get right down to it. Both have druids/spirits spawning bundle items that you have to slog across the map. Both have enemy teams with runners trying to mess your stuff up. The main objectives require you slog not one but three bundles across the map while preventing said runners from messing your stuff up. The bonuses require you kill extra dude(s), also while preventing said runners from messing your stuff up.
Did I mention how much I hate bundle items?
At least in Aurora Glade, the number of enemies is finite and the bundles don't have to be carried as far.
2nd place goes to the Divinity Coast bonus. Easy mission where one bad spawn ruins it.
Grand Court and Morah aren't so bad, imo, unless you want masters. If you PUG a lot, like I do, it's a real luck of the draw if you can get a group with the DPS and tactics to get it.

My least favorite missions:
Prophecies: Frost gate, purely a tedious endeavor.
factions: Visunah square, Arborstone, Tahnaki temple
Nightfall: Jennur's Horde (Grand court gets an honorable mention only because so many people don't know how to get through it.)
My Favorites:
Prophecies: Iron Mines of Moladune - a mission with a variety of different enemies? - nice!
factions: Imperial Sanctum - 2:30 seconds or less to get to the end of factions? Thank God!!!!
Nightfall: Poghan passage - sneaky sunspears FTW! Runner up: Consulate Docks, I always have fun storming the castle.

The mission in Nightfall with Shiro. That was ridiculous.
