Good work on the faces!! And that charr is awesome
thanks! we've been working on them. (i like your avatar, did you draw it?) well, anyone else who wants me (or nymph) to draw their char, just post a screenshot of it and if you can, a closeup of the face.

I looked through most of them (one wasn't there anymore) and I think you are definately showing promise, however.....there are quiet a few anatomy issues....not all of them are obvious...many had quirky proportions or assymetrical proportions....a few had glaring differences (ie: too long of arms or legs, torso too long) but do not be discouraged; simply learn and improve
Still good work

Haha, no perynne walker drew this face for me ^^ I just coloured it.
That was a pretty pose u took on that last one. Face is almost right (eyes aren't equal, but it doesn't matter that much)
Some points you may want to work on:
- armor needs space, that means that if you draw a leg part (like on that ranger) the leg+part should be wider than just theleg. (more the case on the arms btw)
- Using distance in your background, the river is kind of straight to the viewer, it should look more / \ -ish. Also try to fill up the landscape a bit more, draw some grass . Good work on the trees.
- Sharpen the lines a bit after u have finished the drawing, that way it won't become a grey mess.
Keep it up! (hope this helps :$)

oops... i think i deleted that one . well its the one of the mesmer in one of my previous posts. i just made a few changes. hmm...as for proportions, ive notice some major mistakes as well (especially in my Cynn drawing, but i dont really want to go back and change it) and im working on it! Thanks for the advice Mistical miss. hehe, took me a while to figure out what you meant about the leg+part thing, but i got it now

here's something i've been working on it...nymph tells me it's not a good pose for a mesmer, but i dont see what's unusual about a mesmer turning cartwheels...i mean, assume she just finished a very difficult mission and is celebrating. well, i was trying for something unusual as opposed to the typical generic pose...the proportions may be off seeing as i didnt go through the whole eight-heads-high thing like i usually do (i know its supposed to be about 7 1/2, but i like to elongate the legs on the women, they look prettier), and the hands/arms are a bit uneven...and the left leg! OH NO! i just realized how crooked it is...

Thats a really tough pose, looks nice though!
There are only two things I can find that you haven't found already:
The hands lack fingers, and well the other thing would make the picture a bit more erm well err, when you stand on your head, your dress falls down. (Breast might be too packed in the clothes to be subject to gravity aswell).
Nice job on that one! Good thing you stepped off a generic pose aswell!

very nice work both of you!! I'm having such a ball going through these threads
I sure hope you decide to take commissions, and if you do I would love one!! What I have in mind is sort of a family picture of my ranger and my pet with my real life partner's ranger and her pet. I realize this would be more work, and I would most definitely pay more for it.
This is my ranger and Buffalo Wings, my pet.

This is my RL partner's ranger and her (she's a her in rl) dear pet, Orson. She says he's a dog I don't argue about it anymore.

Oooh, he's so cute. <3 The legs could maybe be a bit thinner in their middle parts to emphasize where the knee "knobs" are and where the foot starts. Otherwise it's just perfect, I think.
Your other drawings are very good too, keep up the good work! It's good that you're trying out different poses, rather than sticking to the generic frontal pose that so many promising artists get stuck on. Best way to learn anatomy is to draw it from all sides.

OMG that's *MY BABY*!!!!!!!! He looks soooooooooooooooo CUTE!!!!
I am overcome by emotion!!! honestly!!! Some background info: I started looking at threads in this section a few weeks ago. I am amazed at the talent, truly amazed. I have requested a few commissions here and there, and your sketch of Buffalo Wing is THE FIRST one. Seeing him here was like so touching!!!

Ooooh. it's so cute! <3<3 It fits in really well.
One thing that strikes my eye is that there's a LOT of "empty" space on the ranger's left. Will you be drawing something there? Even some large bushes and trees and maybe tall grass would help... right now, the image looks pretty lopsided since the main attractions are both situated to the far left.
Also, the moa's size looks a bit small, since he's nearly on the same level as the ranger. If the ranger stood up, she'd be almost right next to the moa, and it would come up to about her waist. I know it's probably too late to fix it now, but you'd need to move the ranger closer to the viewer if you wanted to get more of a distance (and at the same time height difference) between them. I know, perspective is tricky... x_x
Anyway, don't mind me, this picture is just wonderful like this too.
