A question to those who bought Factions at its release

Made mine during the preview event,died 2000+ time for me to learn how to play it. get prot. tile of all 3 chapter, done all none- repeatable quest in Faction, doing AB, CRing Palace, farm FoW and mercenary in Napui Quarter to get people master. wearing 15k Luxon with Ungue of Forgotten. she is now solo farm several bosses in Cantha but no luck on drop

I created an assassin and deleted it. Later I retried and levelled her to lvl 20 but still it didn't seem right.
Funny enough with the last skill changes, suddenly it clicked and now it works for me. She is level 20, has ancient armour, Ungues of the Forgotten and perfect steel daggers and finished Cantha and Elona. She is currently at the last mission in Tyria...
I must say it is good to be in a PvE guild that doesn't refuse to play with you because you're an assassin...that helps a lot. She has an interrupt/spike build that works very well.

my hubby made an assasin, I made the rit ......we finished factions together....and then his sin sat, and sat and sat some more......makes a preettty good mule....well nf came out...we made a dervish and a paragon.....his dervish is now playing with my first character my ele....my paragon is a semi-mule.....
months have past since nf came out.....the sin....well decided to go and run around tyria....we got it to ammoon....and now the sin spends time killing spiders in the jungle on my hubbys off times when I am not around.

I created my sin during the preview event also, got him to Arborstone, and couldn't get a group for a month because of all the sin hating going on at the time. Eventually decided to delete him, of course he would be coming up on a birthday here soon so it kind of sucks I deleted him but I don't regret it because the monk I made in his place is funner to play and can always find a group.

my sin is just a character i paly for some fun pve and something different and has been since day one. really got into it like 2 weeks ago. finally got to eternal grove lol. i should finish factions with my sin in about a year or so if i keep going at this rate.

I made my assassin on day one of Factions' release and played her through the entirety of the campaign. I got her 15k Kurzick armor and the Protector of Cantha title, then took her back through some of the Tyrian missions. Right now she's slowly working her way through Nightfall, along with a couple of my other characters.
All the assassin hate going around after Factions' release was kind of discouraging, but when I did manage to get into a group I was usually complimented on how well I managed to play and stay alive. I always hope that maybe, just maybe I've managed to change some minds about assassins being useless in PvE. I find them to be such a fun class when used properly that it's a shame they're neglected so much.

I'm on my 7th 'sin now... going strong, Ancient armour, more daggers than I know what to do with, and just hauling his ass through Factions to get Moebius Strike.
Whenever I need to blow off some steam, I'll take him to the frontline and slaughter some kurzick wammos. Good stuff. (Well... echo-MS eles and MMs are fun to pick on too...)

Assassin is my favorite class. I still use him from time to time especially when I need to green farm. Assassin for me is the most versatile green farmer. I bought him 15k Luxon Armor and planning to get him a new armor may be in Chapter 4 since IMO nightfall assassin armor looks stupid

My assassin is my main character. I created her the first day factions came out and got her 15k kurzick armor. I've currently finished getting all 3 protectors titles and all 3 grandmaster cartographer titles for her and still working on the rest. Assassins FTW

Obviously everyone made either an Sins or a Rit. The Rits were impressive and served a purpose. But Sins simple died every 2 seconds in a quest or mission.
Im still yet to see a human player, play an effective Sin in PvE. Obviously some will exist and Im sure their great players. But the Sin is a hard one to master. Most players seem to think they can tank as a Sin and run head-first into agro and simply die.

My assassin has survived since the Factions beta/preview weekend and is going around in 15k Cathan Armour with numerous maxed gold daggers.
He completed Factions and is now just entering Vabbi in Nightfall.
I like playing him and have a build that seems to work for most occassions, but i have to admit he is not one of my primary characters. I tend to use him once i have completed the chapter with my others first.
Despite people saying assassins sucked and didnt want them, etc, etc, i always found him to be pretty effective and good fun and didnt really die a lot. It's all about knowing how to play them. I think my best moment was being last one standing on Unwaking Waters and getting the others back up (and then being given some candy canes by one of the players, just in case i did get any DP).

I wasn't too impressed with the Assassin. Mine got deleted within about 2 weeks. I've never really had much love for melee classes, though.

I got factions on release date and made an assasin, who until this day still remain as an on-off char. I finished Factions with him, die 87 times mostly from try to worked out how not to be a tank with him. These days I mainly use him for solo Tomb farming & HA.

I love my sin, the fact that you always have to be viligent cause sins can die easily makes it more fun for me. And since i use my anti-melee build...i like annoy warriors in ra and ab.

Made my sin on the first day factions came out. A lot of henching ended up making me ditch my assassin for quite a while. Starting to use him now, especially since getting him Stygian Daggers .

My Sin finished Factions recently, is the only one of my 9 characters to possess an end of game weapon and farms Jarin Plains (as an A/R Crit Barrager) whenever there's an event on.

I didn't make an assassin straight away with Factions as I wanted a neccie but I did eventually make one and she ended up sitting in the middle of Cantha doing nothing. Recently I decided to delete her and make a new one (cos I wanted to change her looks and name) and am so happy with my new assassin ;D She has now gone thru Cantha and is wearing 15k kurzick armour and is currently going through Elona.
I have one of every class (and love playing them all) and assassin is one of my top choices for playing. Assassins are def cool (and I love my ritualist too

I actually didn't make an Assassin until about 4 months into Factions, I made my Rit at the early access day, so she was made at -1 
... But nowadays my Assassin is playing a mule, randomly trying to do some Faction quests to get through Cavalon. But I did finish Prophecies with him.

So I put my sin into hibernation until things calmed down.
I again picked her up a month or so back took her to Elona and got heroes. Great fun. Run through Cantha and just need to do 2 missions for Protector. I'm at the Crystal Desert in Tyria (where 'sins rock btw) and will probably end up doing Elona at some stage.
My tank, monk and necro will always be my spoiled characters, but my sin is probably joint 5th with my Ele. In my case, it's the rit that has become the mule.

My assassin got axed after I didn't play him for months. Couldn't be bothered to play him any further after I hit Kaineng. Now, it's the only class I don't have one of. I don't really care how balance changes would've affected him.

don't really like factions too much my sin is my mual as he is in a towen where the merch and the storage are right next to one anouther! like the char just don't have that much time to play it!

My assassins, all _4_ of them I've started, all made it to level 20. Some even got decent loot. All of them are now deleted. Some even made way for an extra PvP slot.

I Made Mina on the 27th, the day of the tengu. Although I have left her alone for long periods of time, she is my 4th most played character* after my 'subverted holy trinity' of warrior who doesn't tank, monk who doesn't heal and ele that doesn't nuke. She also hit 1,000,000xp a week or so ago and has a mixed armour set of Seitung 1.5k and Luxon 15k

Well I didn't make a sin until a couple of months ago since the first few weeks after Factions came out there was a major over supply of the class. I created him mostly to have a solo boss/tombs farmer but I had so much fun with him I finished both Factions and NF with him (mostly w/ hero/hench in NF since many people still won't take sins in more difficult co-op missions). Since then I have done a lot of AB w/ him.
So I've spent so much time with him doing other stuff that I have done almost no solo farming with him and now with the latest nerf to some of the sin skills farming tombs solo is about as much fun as watching paint dry.
I like the class and I expect to keep my sin around.

My assasin is doing well, hes completed factions and is halfway through both of the other campeigns, its hard since very few people want an assasin along, but once thats done my assasin kicks ass.
It makes me sad whenever someone says "kik assa" and then im out.

My assassin was made after I bought Phropercies for the Extra slot.That was when assasin got the first major buff on skills.
Got him all the Elite Factions skill and 15K armour.Might move him out after I ran my other chars through the skill capt run.

When I got Factions, I decided to make an assassin and get him through the game before my other toons from prophecies before people started to make fools out of assassins. Today, my assassin is endowed in 15k kurzick and awaiting to be endowed with vabbian armor as a reward after finishing up all 3 campaigns with the protector titles in them. Now Ive got 2 more toons out of the 10 left to get through NF...

Well my Sin is basically in hibernation storing various items, haven't played her since she turned 20 and she did not even finish factions this was before she even made it off the starter island, every single group I was in had nothing but sins and rit's which I had already ran my rit thru the factions campaign and was so glad she could heal without too many monks and tanks around.
