3,78X in the past 22 months. I was really worried about not being able to carry over to Guild Wars 2, but I have since realized that it wont be that bad. ArenaNet is doing us a favor by letting us keep the titles and having the Hall of Monuments, along with keeping character names. They have said they wont shut down Guild Wars servers when Guild Wars 2 comes out (however, I don't know how long they will support them) so I will have 2 versions of my character.

you know Ive also played since the beginning and have about 1100 hours of 21 months, and I know a good 50-70 hours was AFKing. to some of you who spent all that time, imagine if u used that instead to learn an instrument, or write a book, learn something, ehhh I'm going to start paying attention in class now!

I "invested" more time into Unreal Tournament than Guild Wars, despite the fact that in UT the history of your character is completely wiped after every match, i.e. once about every 20 minutes. All is lost. Go figure!

I have several other characters with a good amount of time played as well but Kanwulf definitely means the most to me and I have no problem at all with him not being in GWs 2. It is however very cool that his great grandson will be able to see/possibly use his great achievements. At the very least I will be able to take red iris flowers to his roting corpse.

653, nearly 654 hours, across 22 months. However there's very little AFK in there, and I play Guild Wars because I can get somewhere without it being a huge time sink. My life is just far too busy for most MMOs.

I will HEARTILY agree with those who have said PLAYED rather than invested. Yeah so I've spent =/- $150- in the last 22 months...so? Considering how much fun I've had with it, playing with my guy and our friends...it has been a DAMN good investment Good times
GW2 is 2 years away LOL who even knows where we'll be in 2 years? My chars aren't a waste at all, they were damn fun and I love 'em...but in 2 years I'll be ok with letting them go to build new memories
