Yeah, long waiting isn't such a big deal... being completely ignored is a lot worse. Especially if you're already commited money to the commission. Fortunately, it's rare that you meet artists which are downright rude or refuse to reply to correspondence.

@AW Lore: I don't know if you already know it, but if you enter your gallery and select Rearrange from the popup menu you get an easy effective way to re-order the images in your gallery (so you can put your favourite commissions first, or group commissions from the same artist together)

A guildie did this drawing for me...he doesn't have a scanner though, so he just took a picture of it for me until he can scan it in...I think it turned out pretty good

And aye, the wait can be a pain when theres no communication. Guess I'm lucky like that, most of my pieces have come from people I actually know. Mistical's been working on my latest piece for several months now in one form or the other - it's an ensemble of my 3 most played characters; Rena, Krysten and Aimee. In fact, he just posted the second draft in his thread the other day, (my birthday, weeee!)

In other news, I farmed a dead sword the other day on my 1st try

iPod ftl. Well, I paid £50 for it, so I can't complain too much, even if the battery is almost dead, (well, it lasts about 8h, the same as my old shuffle, which is more than i need really.)

But otherwise, Slayer, I disagree. iPod ftw, but iTunes? Definitely ftl. (Apart from the handy mp3 converter ^^ )

Anyway, I thought I'd put a link to Mistical miss' thread here on Guru. Since a lot of my pieces are done by him, I think it's only fair that he gets a little more exposure. So, without further ado:

Also, his second draft of my terrible trio is on there now and I've added it to my gallery too. Please excuse the crappy editing, thats my fault - the picture was originally two scans, so I pieced it together and resized it and tried to clean up the dark patches on the scan, not to such a great effect. Still, at least the image is in one piece. Right, anyway, I'm off to go drool at the other art threads. Later!
