zilth
im new too GW and can someone please explain wat exactly are dervish and their role in the game?
RPGmaniac
Dervishes are basically your holy warrior type melee people. They rely on enchantments to enhance themselves in battle and are a viable alternative to a warrior for melee/damage absorption. They have an attribute-Mysticism, which gives health and energy whenever an enchantment ends on the dervish (from any source, not just the dervish's own enchantments). Also, there are a few farming builds for dervishes.

but what about their dps?
is it better than warriors?
do they low, middle or high armor?

1. That's depend on your build, dervish can hit 3 target at once. A bit slower than warrior, I think.
2. That's depend on your build again. They have a great tanking build.
3. They have lower armor than warrior but some of their elite forms can surpass anyone, cut through the enemy like a paper.

Just so you understand where this term came from, the word dervish comes from a specific sect of Middle Eastern holy men. Thus it kinda fits in with NF's middle eastern/northern africa theme.
